Hi. I played 3 games last night: Apex Legends (games getting shorter and shorter); Life is Strange: Before the Storm (like an episode of the OC with more convincing facial expressions); and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. It's a good game, though as in Dishonored 2 there is basically no point fighting anyone as you die in about 2 seconds, so has to be played as stealth. It also seems to be a short game, which is what I need with my terrible attention span and inability to commit to anything.
Telly: Killing Eve, series 2. I'm not sure yet, but I think it;s crap. They've taken it more in a Carry On direction, but not in a good way.

Games - Total War: China, raising some armies, killing some dudes. The family business. Figured out spies. The rest of it is completely impenetrable.
Also discovered you can plug a PS4 controller into a laptop and use it for games on steam. Which made Witcher a lot easier, and will come in handy for other things which I abandoned due to not being right for mouse and keyboard.

I’m beginning to doubt if Tenthen is really going to be so lousy at MK8.

Just an observation - the Switch is the first console I’ve had connected to the living room telly since the Sega Megadrive. I’ve always kept my shameful gaming hobby to a secluded darkened room. The way it should be, not exposed for all the neighbours to peer in the window and see.

Telly: Killing Eve, series 2. I'm not sure yet, but I think it;s crap. They've taken it more in a Carry On direction, but not in a good way. I've watched most of series 2, I like it because I like the characters, but the story has gone off the rails in a pretty bad way. Its all a bit silly at this point. Games! That E3 has been miserable so far, its like Xbox saw the opportunity to really stick it to Sony (who aren't even bothering this year) and thought 'nah lets just phone it in'. The Nintendough stream can't be much worst... ... unless Animal Crossing turns out to be a Switch port of that Wii U board game... I would literally shit with rage |

Been to school sports day. Child came possibly 4th in her hurdles race. Had a rather vocal South African lady shouting in my ear throughout. Tremendous. Heading to work now.
I always use my Mii character in MarioKart. So I should be using one of the big lads? Deary me. Count me in for Thursday.
Bloggie. Yeah I'd be up for some TD2. Might not be till 10 though or whenever Mrs C goes to bed. Got a 20 min run around this morning helping a random.

E3: Nothing exciting to report. I miss SONY
Being friends with a woman: Well it's a bit complex as it's my last long-term partner. We split up because she likes a drink too much sometimes and when she does she thinks she's entitled to punch people (and by people I mean me). This doesn't end well so we've not been together for five years but managed to stay friends. I do have other female friends. No dates this week though.
OTTM: It's been raining in Brum since Sunday. And as the drains are all blocked there is a lot of localized road flooding. Thanks BCC, thanks.

Tbf the main reason to watch it is the characters, I haven't watched S2* yet but the first was a bog standard procedural which was a bit silly *neatly ducking the series/season thing |
