I remember the piano player at our cinema and the lady that came around with all the sweets. Halcyon days.
Still fuckin' raining here.

And here too ... another russian roulette with 'patient' transport - 6 journeys 1 on time, 1 early, 1 4 hrs. late and 3 no shows, including a missed urgent appointment. 3 complainrs o/s. Today is a replacement appointment for the no show, which itself was 2 months after the latest scheduled date because I was overlooked and is now 3 months overdue. I am not looking forward to this procedure ...

Morning. I am waiting for an electrician to look at the heating thermostat. I checked it earlier and it works perfectly. I know how this is going to go.
Tids: I swear this is the first time it's worked in 5 days. Smug Sparky: OK mate, well if it ain't broke, I can't fix it can I? Tids: Well, can't you just check out the contacts in it or something? Smug Sparky: Sorry mate. No can do.
*sound of chainsaw being revved and muffled screams*

I guarantee that electrician will find something to fix, particularly if he asks to look at the fuse board.

Smug Sparky: Why are you wearing a waterproof jacket indoors? Tids: I'm going out after you've left, might rain.

Nintendo direct last night was simultaneously wonderful and disappointing. I've pre-ordered that Collection of Mana, and it inspired me to go back to Zelda and try and actually finish it. Zelda link awakening looks lovely too. Animal Crossing delay is really disappointing tho.
Ganes - Zelda.
Is it supposed to be so difficult? I've been heading for the area with the giant bird, and trying to activate one of the towers on the way there I got rekt by the electricity moblins and thunder wizards or whatever they were nearby. I can't tell if I need more health, or better armour or something. It could be that I've just missed buying some new better armour at some point? Anyway I snuck around and wasted all my bow ammo on them and did it eventually, and on the way to big bird land.

Thermostats are an aberration against nature. Mine exists on its own pocket dimension in which time moves at a different speed than it does here and the temperature is always 2.5 degrees more (winter) or less (summer, obvs) than one might expect.
After 4 years it’s now at least 5.5 hours out and there’s no way to change the clock, as it’s factory set. Presumably the factory is somewhere in orbit over a different latitude, quite possibly a different planet.
Is it too early in the week to go full beans at the PGLs?

Is it too early in the week to go full beans at the PGLs? Early? It's already Wednesday for christ sake. If you've not started by now you're pretty much done for.

Hello all.
I've got babyfark's weather down here. A major disappointment after yesterday glorious sunshine. Thanks a lot, baby.
Gamesblog - other than my winge about E3 yesterday, no games.
TVblog - 30 Rock.
Amigablog - time to order some more bits: this time an SD card adaptor to utilise an SD card as a hard drive. If your disposable income doesn't go exclusively on resurrecting 90s technology, you've surely got to question where it all went wrong in life.

I'm agreed with you on direct, everyone is thrilled about the new Zelda, but realistically that could be released anywhere from end of 2020- 2055 knowing Nintendo. Their actual output for this year was slim. The Microsoft links also ended in a bit of a dud, banjo kazooie on smash Bros? Big whoop.

If your disposable income doesn't go exclusively on resurrecting 90s technology, you've surely got to question where it all went wrong in life. I've got 2 LED watchs from the late 70's, which are ongoing projects. I think the Commodore is fucked. The other one, a Pateau, works fine (for a few days) and then resets itself. The battery life is shocking. Worse than Shenguin's swearing.

Morning
Terrible night's sleep. Was woke several times by Preferred Mammel berating me for snoring (as if).
I may or may not have responded to this, but she left for work without speaking this morning.
