They absolutely do. Big double-door things. And there are two contestants too. So, the chefs are wizards at cooking with expired yoghurts? Expired kimchi mostly. And that stuff requires a full NBC suit to work with safely. |

Amipal's unexpurgated fridge show is good stuff. The ones where they don't have much in the fridge and have to make do with instant ramen powder and stuff are the best. Some of them blatantly buy a load of fancy stuff and tidy the fridge in advance to show off, those are less interesting. The one with the K-Pop star who has three of the most expensive food-stuffs, for instance: caviar, truffles... and some very posh Korean beef I think. Surprisingly, the food turned out very good indeed. |

Afternoon.
As Returning Officer for the weekend Chatterbox poll I am pleased to announce the results as follows:
Number of votes cast - 17. There were no spoilt ballot papers.
Mayonnaise - 8 votes (47.06%)
Salad Cream - 8 votes (47.06%)
Prudy01 - 1 vote (5.88%)
Therefore Mayonnaise and Salad Cream will go forward to the postal ballot of Chatterbox members.
Prudy01 has been eliminated.

However I did notice a pattern of tactical voting whereby a lot of people switched their vote from Prudy01 to Mayonnaise at the last minute.

Reports are now emerging that the Salad Cream was involved in a heated row with a jar of Horseradish and the condiments on the shelf below were so concerned that the police were called to diffuse the situation.

Amigablog - delved into BlitzBasic again, and now have a player object on-screen that doesn't leave a trail behind it when the screen scrolls! Chuffed with that. Is BlitzBasic basically like BASIC? What kind of CPU does the Amiga use? Z80? 6502? You'll want to synchronise the refresh with vsync or ideally use double buffering to prevent tearing. Absolute gibberish. BlitzBasic is a BASIC-type language, but with functions available to hit the Amiga chipset directly. You can even pop a bit of assembler in if you wish. 68000 for the A500 and A600, 68020 for the A1200. |
