Games - yes. More Witchering. More Gwent. Took out some monsters too. Still too low level to do any contracts though. It really is the best, I could play it forever.

Working from home today after a busy day a'givin' and a'gainin' yesterday. Yes, I do work for a bank, and one which actually made a profit on its bailout return - you're welcome.
Gamesblog - me? Nah.
TVblog - a bit of TNG. Picard bumps into an old flame. It wasn't great.
OTTM - all happening today. Plumber in to sort pipes for new washing machine. Electrician in to fit a light, alter another, and do some jiggery-pokery with the RCD. Then a desk being delivered, as well as an Asda delivery.

I had an interesting chat last night with my friend in London 'Sven'. He's the one with the certified loony living upstairs. According to the loon*, Sven ran over her brother in a car, killing him. Sven then stole his 'medical documents' and has been impersonating her brother ever since.
Sven has no car or driving licence.
Furthermore, Sven has copied her house keys and given them out to everyone he meets. He's also been living in her loft in order to spy on her.
*When I say 'according to the loon', I mean shouting this outside his front door at 3.30 am.
The man is a master of restraint.

Tiddles - I would err on the side of caution and treat with Sven with suspicion all the same.
Scubar - did you use the Cyberpunk game play trailer? It really didn't look great to me, probably not helped by the font looking too similar to Fallout.
I have started watching Black Summer, as I aim to have at least one zombie show on the go at any one time.

Why don't I "get" The Witcher 3? I enjoy a good RPG, particularly one set in a very immersive world.
The Witcher 3 just didn't snag me. Maybe it was the combat* or the controls? Who knows, but I don't have any plans to return to it.
*I'm fully aware of the irony of someone saying this that has spent hundreds of hours playing Skyrim.

I know the combat/controls was an issue for some people, but there’s an alternative mode which improved it a lot. I mainly play it for Gwent. I’ve beaten all the big boys in Velen now, time to set my sights further afield. Time to beat the pub landlords. |

I played Skyrim through from start to finish twice and completed all the DLCs, I played 20 minutes of W3 and gave up as it was boring.
