Morning Joe. Shameless repost:
First ball of the day! Oh well, good over all, and Cookie has been a brilliant monster.

Classic England. Australia batsmen on the back foot, and a good opportunity for our bowlers.

Morning campers,
Was up and out early this morning as I thought it would be a good idea to book a 9am haircut appointment. Due to go and play snooker this afternoon but there is already a clamour to sack it off and go to a Walkabout pub instead. The joys.
Christmas chat - several days of drink, food, crap TV and very few cheese sandwiches. Lovely. Nearly finished the good place on Netflix, great suggestion. Little gaming apart for some 3ds bravely default.
Cricket - hopefully the weather doesn't ruin the last day. Could be an exciting chase to get out the Aussies in time for a quick run chase.

Never been in a walkabout(s). Passing one on the way to the cinema was bad enough.
Back from sledging. Bacon rolls and soup for lunch. Possibly watching Lego Ninjago this afternoon and hopefully still going to Star Wars tonight.
Anyone been to a cineworld super 2d screen? Worth the extra £3?

I've done it once before, screen seemed bigger and clearer than normal I'm not sure whether it makes a huge deal mind.

Hello,
Only now mildly corpus mentis after collapsing from exhaustion last night. The children had a good time, though. Taking it easy today, tomorrow foraging for more party food.
Films: Miracle on 34th Street at Xmas, Night at the Museum atm.
Games: no.
What are people's plans for new year's eve? Will stay in, play some games, watch something (have in the past braved the ceilidh on BBC Alba, will see), with nibbles and fizzy for sustenance. Couch potato New Year is best New Year.

Do German's really all do that? I thought it was just a slander told by Brexiters.

Yo!! How are we all?
I watched a bit more Rome and caught up a bit with some more President Jack last night. I've also been heading to bed rather late after guzzling wine, as I'm having a hard time sleeping. Amazingly, drink yourself to sleep works on some levels.

The only reason I even know what day it is is because if Destry, he is a good man and thorough. Wardor seems solid, only played 20 mins so far, about to have a proper five in now after I took Mrs Zord out for lunch as bribery. Shes been hogging the big telly watching...Elementary...*shudders* On the plus side, it meant I got some models done. Got a game called Gaslands, which you use matchbox cars for, and its always fun Reavering up stuff.

Last night I did another overnight at the winter shelter. One of the volunteers didn't turn up. In the morning only one of the four morning team volunteers arrived.
Who would do this? Why would anybody volunteer for something like this and then not come? I have no problem with people who don't have the time, energy or inclination to volunteer, there are a thousand reasons someone might not do it. I have no issue with anyone who volunteers and then finds they cannot do it for some reason, as long as they tell someone. But who would act in this way? Put their name down for something like this then simply not arrive, knowing that it will put loads of people in difficulty? This country.
On the plus side I got to play a lot of Canis Canem Edit on my iPad. Truly this is one of my all-time favourite games.

Do German's really all do that? I thought it was just a slander told by Brexiters. Whatever the Brexiters tell you, it's slander. Which bit in particular? The couch potato, BBC Alba, or Dinner for One? If the latter I think that I forgot about it until a year or so ago, and then found out that Mr Enemy had never seen it although he lived for some years in Germany. If you look at the Wikipedia page you'll see that even South Africans and Australians have joined the whole of Scandinavia, Germany and the Baltic states in appreciation of a British export no-one in Britain knew about. And don't say "for good reason"; are YOU able to accurately predict whether or not Freddie Frinton will trip on the tiger's head? Cutting edge satire on the British upper class too close to the bone in its homeland, something, something.

I got a mini whisky collection for Christmas and it contained granite blocks to freeze and use instead of ice. I require the chatterbox scotch boffins to steer to me to safety here, should I use them or bin them?
Also, I think I was supposed to volunteer at a shelter for ecstasy pipe addicts or some nonsense but I couldn't be arsed with it.

I think that's actually quite clever, you should give it a try.

Had a massive chuckle to myself this morning during my lie-in. I signed up under 12 different names to volunteer at some tramp shelter, just for the shits and giggles. Obviously I didn't go. LMAO though thinking about some poor sod trying to sort out the problems. Why the fuck would anyone help the sort of loser who ends up on the steets? This country, bunch of pinko bed-wetters.
