I got a mini whisky collection for Christmas and it contained granite blocks to freeze and use instead of ice. I require the chatterbox scotch boffins to steer to me to safety here, should I use them or bin them? Whisky on the rocks without diluting the whisky! I think that's actually quite clever, you should give it a try. Clever idea, but why would you want to freeze the taste out of a decent whisky? Just keep the bottle coolish, and drink it straight. Each to their own though, I'm not judging or criticising*. *I absolutely am. |

I've also been heading to bed rather late after guzzling wine, as I'm having a hard time sleeping. Amazingly, drink yourself to sleep works on some levels. Back at work already? |

What are people's plans for new year's eve? Will stay in, play some games, watch something (have in the past braved the ceilidh on BBC Alba, will see), with nibbles and fizzy for sustenance. Couch potato New Year is best New Year. Up to my sisters for some multi-day drinking and 80s DVDs. BBC Alba missed a trick not showing Gaelic staple Dotaman at Hogmanay. They could've cleared up with 30/40s drunken market. |

Had a massive chuckle to myself this morning during my lie-in. I signed up under 12 different names to volunteer at some tramp shelter, just for the shits and giggles. Obviously I didn't go. LMAO though thinking about some poor sod trying to sort out the problems. Why the fuck would anyone help the sort of loser who ends up on the steets? This country, bunch of pinko bed-wetters. Now if that was true I would appreciate it - at least somebody would have got a laugh out of it. |

Clever idea, but why would you want to freeze the taste out of an decent whisky? I wouldn't know because I've never tried it. I don't want no filthy ice cube diluting my fine whisky, but I don't know what it's like if it just cools, and I'm open to new ideas as long as Baby and his whisky are the guinea pigs. |

Was supposed to be going to Star Wars tonight. Cancelled due to Mrs Crank waking up with a bad back.
Hogmanay. No real plans. We're at Mrs Cranks folks till the 2nd. I really want to play the modern combat remaster I got for Xmas and I'm annoyed I never got the free car on GTA at Xmas.

The only reason I even know what day it is is because if Destry, he is a good man and thorough. Wardor seems solid, only played 20 mins so far, about to have a proper five in now after I took Mrs Zord out for lunch as bribery. Shes been hogging the big telly watching...Elementary...*shudders* On the plus side, it meant I got some models done. Got a game called Gaslands, which you use matchbox cars for, and its always fun Reavering up stuff.  1:48 scale car? |
