Sister-in-law brought a haggis from Edinburgh. Now shopping for suitable accompaniments. The Wikipedia page for whisky sauce claims that the whisky needs to be set alight before stirring in the cream and links to a BBC Good Food recipe. I wonder how many kitchen fires they might be responsible for. |

Forget Haggis. There is a butcher in Edinburgh that makes its own Beef Olives. Ok, I'm sure quite a few do - but this place rolls them to order when you go in. Incredible things. Next level stuff.

To be fair some of their offers have been pretty good. Can you post the link? I'm asking for a friend ( MrTiddles actually - you can see how he'd get extensive use out of them). Oddly that's what made me break off my relationship with an American. She ushered me into her boudoir and when I looked askance at the rack, chains and sundry other implements of an S&M purpose she assured me they were for me to use on her. Being constitutionally incapable of deliberately damaging another human being I advised her of this and slept on the couch. I cannot think of anything more dangerous than providing someone with that kit and license to do as they pleased. I'm not passing judgment, (consenting adults and all that) but it's not for me and you need to be bloody sure you're not putting yourself in harm's way. |
