Work seems a good distraction from all the sport yesterday. I think that's the only drawn cricket match I've seen get a final result and not just be left.

Morning all!
TVblog - Good Omens, and about two-thirds of the way through. I... I think I may be in love with Anathema Device.
Amigablog - my Power Tower has an AT-keyboard adapter built-in, the theory being that they'd be easier to come by than big-box Amiga keyboards. That was 20 years ago. Now, even purely PS/2 keyboards are tricky to purchase, let alone AT. I managed to track a PS/2 one down, and then I also had to get hold of a PS/2 to AT adapter to go between... all sorted now. Rich and compelling, I'm sure you'll agree.
Photoblog - I copied all of my airshow photos over to my hard drive. Over five thousands shots. I am now in the processing of tagging metadata. Currently three-quarters of the way through... Once that is done, I'll get to go through those five thousand shots and flag the ones worth a second look. I except to be processing images at some point in 2024.

don’t forget the quicklime. Or is this community service? Hello! There was a helicopter circling at some ungodly hour last night and there’s a climate protest going on and, what’s worse, I’m in work. Urban dystopia ‘r’ us.

Hello.
Games. Just a bit of Dungeons and Dragons with Lazybones, our level one party had fun in a cave with a Bugbear and his horde of goblins. We are supposed to be the physical protection to our dwarven trader’s caravan, but we've already lost him! We did rescue an old geezer who wants us to find our boss too - seems he has a map to a treasure cave!
Sport. All of it.
Food. A giant vat of vegetable chilli, now portioned out and frozen for the next months supply of dinners.
Prime Day. Bought some eau de cologne but have my eye on a mesh WiFi system.
Edited to make the following posts look dumb.

Work seems a good distraction from all the sport yesterday. I think that's the only drawn cricket match I've seen get a final result and not just be left. Not a connoisseur of bowl outs? There have been quite a few super overs as well, in T20 and one day games. It's only tests and the county championship that retain the full purity of the draw.

So you’re making the chilli in a cat?
Or you’re putting cat in the chilli?
Either way, sounds awful.

Currently waiting for people to do things to the garden.
Internet: no longer flaky. Long may it last.
Sleep: insufficient.
Ganes: Dragon Quest Builders 2. Say goodbye to your life. I was actually planning on playing something else. But no.
No word on the Slime plush.
TV: Slowly catching up on Stranger Things.
Curried cat: none.

Why is Amipal wasting all his time on a dead obsolete technology?
Everybody knows it’s all about video now.

www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/jul/15/extinction-rebellion-protests-block-traffic-in-five-uk-citiesSensible extinct rebels. No point in trying to block traffic in Birmingham. The council has already achieved that on its own. The new lights at what was Lawley Circus are a marvel for this. The middle ring road backs up solidly pretty much all day now on the east side. Five ways underpass being shut ensures a trip round the west side is at least as much fun. Closing Fazeley Street has made rat running through Digbeth much less practical.
