www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/jul/15/extinction-rebellion-protests-block-traffic-in-five-uk-citiesSensible extinct rebels. No point in trying to block traffic in Birmingham. The council has already achieved that on its own. The new lights at what was Lawley Circus are a marvel for this. The middle ring road backs up solidly pretty much all day now on the east side. Five ways underpass being shut ensures a trip round the west side is at least as much fun. Closing Fazeley Street has made rat running through Digbeth much less practical. And our new clean-air overlords have had to postpone the pollution charge zone because the system won't be installed in time. Mind you, if they can't come and cut the lawns in the parks, nor collect the bins, what hope do we have for a fully-automated clean-air zone.

I'm back 'boxers. Not much to report. Games: God of War platinum run. I really really need to turn to a guide now as am aimlessly wandering the storyline and killing everything with ease. TV: Stranger Things S3. Effin brilliant. Movies: Atomic Blonde the other night, so-so evening filler. OTTM: Tennis. All the tennis. I have eight matches to play by the end of the month :S

Are you one of the 12% who could take a point from Serena Williams?

The digging has been held up as the skip has still not arrived. Mostly just dug up the first top foot of turf so far.

How deep do you need to go for shallow graves? 6"... Got to give the zombies a chance ... No @sheep, put it away that's rather shorter than half a foot. "You finished my patio yet, Baby?"

Monday question:
What sort of monster microwaves fish in a communal kitchen?
Follow up Monday question:
It’s justifiable to kill them, right?

Why are my adverts on the page for Wolverhampton University?
It’s unsettling.

Amazon Prime deal for Switch owners: SanDisk Ultra 400 GB microSDXC card for £47.99 instead of £69.75. Just grabbed one.
Edit: also more deals for smaller sizes.

I'll give you a deal for a smaller size! Oh, err, hang on. That's not right.
Been through my emails. Invites for meetings all the way to Xmas and two belter FOIs. Triffic.

I'm feeling even more avant-garde than usual today, combined with being half asleep. A recipe for quality chat.
My mind is completely blank

Still sitting waiting for the courier to turn up to return my lenses that I hired on Saturday.
Why does this always happen? At home the entire day, and they never arrive until gone 6pm.
It always happens, dear reader, because I too touch myself at night.

Yes, I did expect that. However, I wanted it delivered yesterday so I could take it away with me for the working week. And then play with it in my sordid hotel room. You heard.
I'm just about to plug it in. I expect to be dissapointed.
I will say that it is very, erm, cute. I think it's at least a very nice ornament.
Either that or I've mutated and have now got two gigantic freak hands. Sort of Trump in reverse.
