The pc wasn't a gaming rig TBF. But would at lower quality currently and higher res with a new PSU /graphics at a later date. Didn't need a Windows licence either. If you're interested: bit.ly/2LvxCpU

Hi! Following a most timely redundancy from the wurst of Civil Service departments. Operation Yellowhammer? Or would you have to kill us with an under-regulated kipper if you told us?

If you're interested: bit.ly/2LvxCpUNot bad for the price, its probably still more powerful than my laptop. I've been toying with the idea to be able to play MMOs and other such PC bollocks but I doubt I would actually ever have time or space to do so.

Morning! Today my internet didn't go flaky over night. It went flaky later in the day. Brexit now. Frying pan chat: different sizes of non-stick, job done. Plus a cast-iron griddle pan which I only used approximately once because it is a) too small, b) too heavy, and c) too difficult to clean. Now that I'm playing Dragon Quest Builders I make a lot of stuff out of stone, including swords, as I don't have any metal yet. It wouldn't surprise me if they let me craft a stone frying pan that I can then sell to Felice. Sausage fest chat: I have no strong opinions on whether frying or grilling yields better results, but I tend to fry them after reading the Guardian's Supermarket Sausage Taste Test a few years ago, as the quote " I would say a sausage that you cannot fry is not a sausage*" has stayed with me. Dollies chat: You are all such good parents. My parents never played with me. They just commandeered my poor brother. This is one reason why I like to play video games. Digital dollies are the best. Dragon Quest Builders is right up my street in that respect. Instead of continuing with the story (which is like a long sequence of side quests) I turned my solid wood patio into the floor of a new house because I'm worried that now that I've got more villagers they need somewhere to sleep. The game is quite alright with some people not having beds, but I feel I would be a bad doll mother if I just left them like that and went off exploring. The game encourages you (in-game) to go to bed and sleep at night. If you stay up you won't be able to do much because you constantly get accosted by ghosts, which in turn also keeps your villagers awake. I feel that this would be a good system IRL that would probably convince me not to play DQB for far too long into the night. *Exhibit A: Amipal's vegetarian sausage** **You can put it away now, Amipal. That's quite enough.

TBF that's the only reason you have more than one.
Hopefully some more Divisioning 2 action later. I also need to make a list of the classified gear pieces I have in div 1. Reading about some sweet builds that use Ninjabag glue. I want to kill a rogue in the darkzone then I can give it up happy.
Realised in Game yesterday I won't finish Zelda botw before the Zelda remake comes out in Sept.

Frying pan chat: different sizes of non-stick, job done. Plus a cast-iron griddle pan which I only used approximately once because it is a) too small, b) too heavy, and c) too difficult to clean. So unlike Xena, more stiletto than skillet? Bloody griddle pans are damned dangerous - slightest excuse they unbalance around the axis of the handle. My 20cm omelette pan is small and cooks like lightning. But the griddle pan I gave away to someone I didn't like after nearly depositing breakfast on the floor ... *Exhibit A: Amipal's vegetarian sausage** **You can put it away now, Amipal. That's quite enough. Don't you quote Naylor at me, madam. Buy proper meat, from a proper butchers, properly hung. When I was feeding folk for festivities, feasts and gainfully employed and not the penurious, dentally challenged pensioner I now am I bought my meats from Kings Farm Shop in Wendover (with a visit to the Chiltern Brewery en route)... The Wendover Royal. 8 for £4.50 - luvverly

I use a griddle pan for croque madame/monseur, french toast, quesidillas, general toasties.
Very occasionally burgers, tuna steaks etc.
With regards to meat. The stuff in the farm shops in Cumbria last week looked incredible. Amazing colours.

I liked the tenthenemy post even though it could have been broken down to at least 3, I assume she didn't want to embarrass Baby over the post count. I also like Chumbles posts because he brings all the emotions; empathy, sympathy, body horror, enlightenment, humour, anger (at how wrong he is), and an occasional feeling of kinship due to a love of Buffy, Xena, Farscape and generally "the good shit".

Hi!
I'm home and am supping Salty Kiss Gooseberry Gose. Lightly sour, fruity and refreshing. I also have some 'Wood will fall down' passion fruit beer for later. All the vitamins.
I want to play a game. Just not sure which. I think I might try RDR2. I've not played it in months. I was at chapter 5.
Pan chat. I have a Tefal non stick frying pan. It's great. Crack in egg, no oil needed obvs, fry, slide onto plate, wipe with kitchen roll, put in cupboard.
However, my prized pans are my set of three Fizzler saucepans of varying sizes. Indestructible. Fourteen years old, plenty of use, not a blemish in sight. Wunderbar!
Does chat get any better than this?

I hurt too much to chase this fox down the rabbit hole, but, sirrah, I am never wrong; I am occasionally misinformed, mistaken or missing the point and more often missing a few marbles, but I am never, ever wrong.
