I like Felice Landry 's idea of cricketeers using DRS. Perhaps some form of KERS as well. I'm still not convinced that the 'blue boy/copper' definition could be applied to a student working in a petrol station. Mind you, the cabbie in question was always using our payphone to order things. 'I'll 'ave two of them and a bag of the usual'. Followed by, 'Oi! Blue Boy! Gis us 20 Bensons'. I expect he's dead now, or a cabinet minstrel. |

My pal used to work a petrol station on a Fri night. He finished at ten and was keen to leave on time so we could get out.
One night about 4am we we're heading back from a night in the Arches and pass his place of employment. All lights on, pumps on, etc etc.
TLDR Don't do Ecstasy at work.

Games - Witcher 3. Got the griffin armour diagrams, and got some of it crafted. I need to find meteorite ore to finish it. I also played more Gwent.

Sure, it’s going to be awful but, on the plus side, public hangings make great free family entertainment, there’s a wealth of great literature from the 19th century and regular riots are a superb form of exercise. It could be a whole new golden age of moral, social and political degradation, if only you’re willing to embrace it.
This evening I shall be cosplaying, I think is the word, Hogarth's “Beer Street”, whilst the going remains reasonably good.

I played some more BOTW. Can't go into the desert because it's too hot. Can't go into the mountains because it's too cold. Tried to climb a tower but got shot down by those big machines. Talked to some fishy people, then got killed repeatedly in a shrine.
Good game.

The outlaws are staying again, and have brought over a massive suitcase for what is supposed to be a one night stay. They also broke new ground by showering with the door open at 3am. Proper thought leaders.
Perhaps in a month or two when they leave I will be able to play some games again.
Shame because 'The Caged Garden Cock Robin' sounds like top stuff. I can't quite work out which groups of words go together in that. What is a Garden Cock?
