Just to clarify, whilst I was privy to the "what shall we watch at the cinema" negotiations, I do not qualify for a vote, or veto.

The guy who writes the HH books is a well known dickhead too. He wasn't too pleased that his books were really popular in libraries and parents should really just buy their kids his books instead. Oh and libraries "have had their day" Can't have it both ways fucko. |

I've just checked, the pigeon is dead. No amount of shouting 'Hello Polly' and banging it's head on a table has worked. It died with it's eyes open. On the plus side, at least it wasn't eaten alive by a sodding seagull or BabyF.* *I'm not sure about the BabyF thing, but Sheggers assures me that he engages in vile practices with wildlife. Iirc he also said there was no need for people to teach or learn history and other humanities because these are useless subjects, and kids should just learn to be hard nosed business types like him; and that learning stuff like history was just a leisure activity [to be pursued by buying his books]. |

A friend of mine was waiting at a bus stop when a pigeon crash-landed on the pavement and ended up in the gutter. He said it didn't look particularly well. Within minutes, a seagull saw the opportunity present and proceeded to eviscerate the pigeon in full view of all the people waiting at the bus stop. A woman threw up. Total waste posting this then. You people. |

Restarted botw in a short window this afternoon. Met the old guy almost immediately and I'm sure it was much later last time.
Made chicken & veg pie for dinner.
I'm quite full and could do with a power nap.

Since it was cold and rainy today, I had a post-lunch power nap. There comes a point when one is simply so tired from playing DQB late at night that one's got to compensate. Basically finished the first chapter, just hanging out on the island to find the rest of the secrets and puzzles (I think I might have done all the puzzles but I can't find where the mini medals are in my inventory).I have played the game fairly regularly for long stretches since it came out, yet I see people online already talking about post-game stuff. I'm sure Conchord is going to overtake me at one point. |

Well, just the bunting to go now. I really do want to make everyone their own room though. Just sick of having to expand the farm to do so. |

I put a lot of effort into expanding the land on which I can build right to the boundaries of the village, which was time consuming but is pleasing to look at. But as far as I know the real deal for building will be on the Isle of Awakening, so one should maybe not put too much work into the story islands. |

As soon as you take one step outside it stops and starts up again as soon as you are back inside. |
