Big shop being delivered today, just worked out that 44% of the price is booze, should've gone for 50%. Tesco are outlawing bags in home deliveries next week... I agree with the general idea, but the Tom's walk from van to door is in uncovered crates so I opted for these because it kept stuff dry so it could go straight into the freezer or the fridge. Now I will have to put them in one place, dry the goods and place in a dry spot before putting the stuff away. I don't let Tesco Tom past the airlock because I can't risk my bandages getting wet. So extra traverses across the kitchen much more time on my feet. And Tesco are not going to allow their delivery guys any extra time to do this. Complete madness So, Felice Landry (or anyone else) do you get your groceries delivered in closed containers? err, please ... |

I get them delivered without bags, it's not much of a walk to the back door which leads to the kitchen and basically only the top box is open to the rain.

Ocado fortunately still uses bags and we've probably made a small profit from getting 5p per bag returned as the delivery person's estimate on the number of bags is usually very generous. (I can't be bothered to actually count them, so I just tell them to make up a number.) Getting large crates through our narrow, twisty hall would be no fun at all.

Hallo First post in a while but been busy with the new job, etc etc Life updates: Cancelled uni because we found out we're having a bairn. I finally got the platinum on Final Fantasy 7. I'm still playing Mortal Kombat 11 and managing to cadge out wins. Congrats, the best and greatest thing that can happen. The FF7 platinum. In regards to the child remember the word of Naboo the Enigma in regards to cannibis cakes. Have one, wait a bit to see how it goes. Dont have loads in one go, you will se the devil. |

I've been hoping that the ball one of you put in my garden would deflate or that the inclement weather would have blown it away... but every time I look out it's changed position ... I'm looking at you amipal I am not a number... Just watched Wonder Woman and really enjoyed it. I shed a tear for the Captain, but the fight was pretty damned good. And it's not often you can say that a character is drop dead gorgeous! |

At the in-laws until tomorrow.
Sorted the Plex setup and a couple of other wee IT things.
Had a shot of the child's animal crossing. Once again she hadn't saved the game properly before switching off. Gruel for breakfast then. Sold a pile of oranges and shells. Put it on to grab a tune for her music player but the lol club isn't there yet. Need to work out what she needs to do.
