Morning! Tiny bit of DQB2 followed by an hour of DQM. The little islands can fuck right off in DQB, some of the items can be a bitch to find, if they're there at all. tenthenemy, I, too, struggled with the flute bit. Mainly because two of the seams are quite close, iirc, so the flute kept trying to take me to the one I'd already found. I assume by now you've done the responsible thing and built a massive roller coaster using mine carts? If not, why not? I built one so big and fast that it crashed the game. That was a fun hour of building lost. In DQM I'm solidly ahead of the curve and well on my way to breeding my first special monster, Malroth, which sounds a bit familiar. . . TV! Bit more Good Place. S3 isn't quite as good as the first two, but only 4 episodes in so it's got time to pick up yet. Also, Mindhunter s2 on Friday, been looking forward to this.

'sup boxers.
Gamewise I am struggling to get NMS to play properly on my new GPU, it's become a real slide show until they roll the Vulkan update into live. I also played a few PUBG matches with my brother, the only highlight was when I took out a duo laying prone in the grass. My brother is now playing solo matches too in an effort to undermine me with a solo victory.
Tellywise lots of Gotham, Orange in the New Black and Helix.
Today is my Tuesday.

Our library got flooded on Sat. Absolutely stinking. Just like your* face.
Wasn't the basement though I'm glad to say as I'd shoved some spare PC's/monitors on the floor last week.
TV. No. Games. Division 1. Some big screen botw action tonight as Mrs C is at her folks.
*Not you

Morning Everyone!
Today is my Monday, apart from all the work I did over the weekend. I'm currently at home on the sofa watching Ben and Hollie's Little Kingdom Christmas cartoons on Netflix, and eating toast and marmite. I am dressed, so that's a good start.

In other news, I think I might be coming round to recognising the monarchy and the current royal family aren't really such a bad lot after all, and we really could do much worse.

I watched the first 20 minutes or so of a film last night. I think it was called Terminator : Relentless Exposition. Every single line of dialogue was an explanation of exactly what was currently happening.
John Connor : "Kyle Reese, you must come with me, John Connor, to fight the terminators, who were created by skynet and responsible for judgement day. Look at that machine. It is sending a Terminator back in time to the year 1984, which is before judgement day happened, to kill Sarah Connor, the mother of me, John connor"
Narraror : "Kyle Reese went with John Connor to fight the terminators, who were created by skynet..... "
Thats pretty much verbatim. I recorded the rest of it.

Hello! I too had to work over the weekend so am considering a full skive today. Stewart Lee was brilliant. It was a work in progress show, and he said the full tour will start in autumn. No ganes.

But if everyone else is skiving I'm going on strike.

By striking I mean refusing to post comments on the G.
I wasn't intending to do any actual work. It is St Monday after all.

Morning.
Games: Played Fire Emblem until 01:30, knackered, finally got into the game after dithering about what to do with all the damn choices they throw at you, once you get started it's not too bad, game is great; school/relationship/fishing/gardening/cooking sim plus some really good turn based battles and lots anime cut scenes.
Am playing on Normal/filthy casual because I see no point in perma-death if one, (me), is going to reload anyway. 4*

Just as well that both the UK and the USA have legal systems that presume innocence until proven guilty; and that we are all intelligent enough to know that newspapers will print any garbage if it's sensational. Beware the paedophile hunters who have used the 'evidence' of all sorts of unpleasant folk such as Carl Beech to make the lives of individuals a living hell. Guilt by association is the recourse of a mentally or morally defective human being. There are enough bastards like Trump repeating misinformation as facts without adding to their corrosive numbers. Not to mention the murderous idiots who decided to take the law into their own hands and killed an innocent man by mistake.

Bit serious for a Monday morning Chumbles.
However on the subject of conspiracy theories I expect this one has a bit more mileage taking into in account how Epstein manage to kill himself whilst on suicide watch.

BabyfarkmcGeezak - So, "it was only a joke" Feeble. Well, I really hate this guilt by association nonsense - it's utterly unfair and nearly impossible to fight. I wasn't implying that Epstein was anything other than what he currently appears to be and he has a record. But you were quite deliberately using guilt by association to take a cheap shot at Prince Andrew and by extension the rest of the royal family. There are many things you could quite reasonably say to slag him off, such as idle git, with terrible taste in women without me jumping on it, but not that nonsense.

It's not a cheap shot and it's not a joke. I really don't what your problem here is Chumbles. Prince Andrew has been accused of some pretty horrid things (not simply by "association" with Epstein) and if I want to think less of him as a result of all this then I am free to do so.

Oh, come on Chumbles. Clearly Prince Philip ordered Epstein's killing to protect Prince Andrew from further revelations*, just like he had Princess Di killed for whatever reason it was.
BabyF clearly was joking, rather more at my expense that at Prince Andrew's (who is a lazy amoral git). Also, there's a little more than guilt by association in Andrew's case; he has been accused of something that might be taken as sexual assault, in written testimony in the Ghislaine Maxwell case. I'm not saying those allegations are true, and I wouldn't deny that there is also an element of guilt by association, but then he does seem to have been associating with some fairly unpleasant people and has been accused of acting in a fairly unpleasant way.
*About his role in faking 9/11.

Conchord! Massive roller coaster made out of mine carts? I wish! I'm still stuck on the second island and only just starting the final project. I'm not going back to my own island until I'm finished there. I have also complained about the "explorer's islands". It's nice that there's a lot to explore but with the items it's often like looking for a needle in a haystack. And why do the icons have to be so tiny? But infinite supplies is nice. Here's a silly video of three grown men playing DQB2 and engaging in what I understand to be traditional Minecraft griefing. I liked the way how Spawnwave was busy filling up a river. We've all been there.
