I touched my helmet for the first time in ages, last night.
My VR helmet.
Played about two hours of NMS, and made myself sick. I don’t think I’m built for the virtual world.
I’m going to give it another go tonight with Wipeout and Astro Bot- see if I fare any better.

Why do some Cheddars not melt properly?
The Mature Co-op own-brand I've got almost looks like it curdles, rather than smoothly melting. It isn't good.

On the plus side, I did manage to plug a couple of air-pockets in the bread using ham to prevent grease running through.
Next-level toasted cheese and ham sandwich making.

I recently had some melted on to hash browns, and it sort of heated and cooked rather than melting. Very disturbing. I even had to check the packet to make sure that I hadn't accidentally bought low fat cheese, which in my very limited experience shows similar properties. I would recommend Waitrose organic (they're nicer to the poor cows) cheddar, but I don't want to look like the sort of person who shops in Waitrose and buys organic cheese.

The seagull situation in Inverkeithing got worse again this year. Luckily, they're not nesting on the route I walk to work so I couldn't care less.

I'm still recovering from Shenguin's peptalk. Hell of a motivational speaker. Motivating you to go back to bed and hope that the next passing asteroid will bring sweet relief. And Scubar's late with the hot drinks. Why do I have to make my own coffee? This morning I was woken up by a crew trimming back trees in our road. Tbf we were expecting them since they put a leaflet through our letterbox to warn us. They started up their shredder, ran it for about ten minutes and have been completely quiet since. Or maybe this has to with me shutting the window. Ganes: DQB2, finally back on my own island. Realising that the whole Chapter 2 was just one long buildup to a pun. And I thought this place was extreme in its dedication to punnery. TV: Killing Eve, and I'm beginning to come round to Faceless's point of view after the sighting of a shark being jumped. At least it made us laugh.

We'd just finished a slab of Waitrose cheddar. Not sure if it was organic though... It did melt very well, mind. Orders of magnitude better than... this.

I am less than 110% convinced that really works, but I've gone with it now. I thought he lived in North Queensferry with all the other glitterati (Gordon Brown, pyjakson etc). I would never live in a wretched hive of scum and villainy like North Queensferry. The wretched hives of scum and villainy I would live in have a better train service and less marine animal cruelty.

Adopting cheese puns as a lifestyle rather than a hobby gives the game away. The biggest problem for the aficionado du fromage is that it can be difficile to get bio fromage from some of the more bijoux fromageries in little French villages. Particularly for some of the more aromatic varieties. On the plus side there is usually a Carrefour hypermarche nearby that sells the same cheese much cheaper and has a superb range of €4-5 wines.

There was so much nonsense in S2 it was hard to pinpoint a specific part. I'm fairly tolerant of nonsense, but it was the hiring of Miss V to work for the MI 6 that stood out. Preferred Mammal has literally lost the plot, which is not unusual for him, but I don't think I'll bother explaining it this time.

Other Conservative MPs against no deal made similar positions clear on Friday. The former justice secretary David Gauke tweeted: “If anyone thinks the answer is Jeremy Corbyn, I think they’re probably asking the wrong question.”
It seems the only right question is how do you stop a no deal Brexit without involving Jeremy Corbyn? That is quite a tricky conundrum. The only answer I have is 'I wouldn't start from here'.

Serial killer and some MI6 bods decide to hang out together for some reason. Whenever serial killer does a murder they all roll their eyes in a 'what is she like' kind of way.

*pushes glasses up nose* If you've read the original paperbacks, it all makes sense. *doffs fedora*

If that is the criteria for jumping the shark it applies to S1 as well, which was standard spy nonsense. I'd have thought most people watch KE for the characters and performances not the silly plots.

In series 1 they sort of explained why V was infatuated with Eve, but i couldn't understand why in series 2 Eve was supposed to be infatuated with V, who had just killed her best mate. Found it unwatchable by the end.

I prefer the TV show because the main reason I like it is that I think Jodie Comer is amazing as Villanelle, and she doesn't have the same character in the book. The book is more straight faced spy stuff with a tinge of Andy McNab (I haven't read Andy McNab but I assume it must be vaguely like that), and I thought the ending was quite clever. Beware that finishing the second book will presumably completely spoil the rest of the TV series, unless they fundamentally change it. I think season 2 of the TV show is almost filler. Season 3 could redeem it though.

Very wet afternoon here. You call this summer? Pasto pesta salad for lunch.
I'm noticing that I'm coming up to 4,000 posts. Some of them may have been cheese puns.

Trump wants Greenland because he thinks he can exchange it for Mexico ... That way he can let asylum seekers in and dump them in Greenland. Weird fact - more people live in Aylesbury than Greenland. Right now it doesn't feel much warmer here.
