So... @bloggiesmalla prepares for blogging by having a furious left-handed wank on the bog? This news does not surprise me.

Also I salute the brave heroes of Peterloo.
A pity they didn't kill more Mancs, but you can't have everything.

Hi. Ganes? No. Telly? Midsomer Murders. Ottm? I had a ticket for a football match with the lads that I then couldn't go to because my parents made an unexpected visit and I had to watch midsomer murders instead, thankfully.

Hello all.
I'm Amiga-ing this morning! Cracked open a couple of cases and got the diagnostic ROMs installed to see what is good or not. Exciting stuff.
I'll then be sending one of the motherboards off to get the capacitors changed. They are Amiga cancer.
Saying that, I've got a couple of A500s in the loft that may be leaking battery acid as I type this. Really should open those up and pull the batteries out...

Of course it is safe. Scubar will bring coffee about 11 and then there is a pep talk from Shenguin. Global climate change, Brexit, the rise of nationalism, economic inequality, political apathy, populism, echo-chambers, incivility, the rise of identity politics fragmenting genuine progressive politics, the normalisation of extremism in the right-wing media, the failure of market economy liberal democracies to sufficiently serve all their citizens and to protect themselves against demagoguery, fake news, conspiracy theories, Trumpification of politics, Putinism, Islamophobia, racism, the decimation of public services in this country, the destructive marketisation of the university sector, the cruel ruination of social infrastructure at the expense of those most vulnerable, the growth of callous selfish politics and outlooks at every level of our society, Jxck Grxxlxsh.

The last of those is the worst by far. 19 Premier League defeats in a row. A record for a player. Every chance to make it 20 this weekend.

That's a pretty niche list of interests. You also missed out supporting Birmingham City and linking a drink.

Linking a drink? As in, I've just had a bottle of wine, and I'm linking it to the next bottle by starting it immediately after finishing the first?

What the fuck is wrong with incivility? Iain M Banks novels became much worse when he was living in civility.

It was a joke about him spending too much time playing Civ. I feared I might have to explain it.
