Mushrooms(in a kind of sauce flavoured with ajwan seeds and various spices), baked beans, and eggs.
I hope SockPuppet doesn't turn out to be my Mum. She'd be disappointed if she new what an odd dinner I was having. Still, if SockPuppet turns out to be my Mum, I'll probably have bigger worries.
Puss stayed in all day! I thought it had gone out through the open window as I couldn't find it this morning before I left. I can't find any evidence of misdemeanours or felonies (felinies?). Do cats have strong bladders? I put it out when I got home about 6. It's come back in now. It seems genuinely upset about its dead human. More Puss updates tomorrow.

It's the time of the year that I like to call "Supermarket Cheese Fire-Sale Week"
I wish I could report that I had a delicious mature farmhouse Cheshire, and an especially nutty and piquant Red Leicester for lunch, but I can't.
I was down the Club Zamboanga listening to some stale re-bop from Wayne Lane, I did manage some fried chicken and biscuits though.

We don't hear anything about the good people of Bell End near Bromsgrove being dissatisfied with the historic name of their village.
