Morning! Day two of work but it's my Friday.
Games. None really. wee bit of hitman go on my phone that I forgot I had.
TV. The wire on the commute. Nearly finished series 2 and I'm going to take a break so I can watch the latest series of Gomorrah.
Films. American Made. Enjoyable romp despite the cruise. (Autocorrect: 'desire' the cruise. Err no. He's a good looking guy and all... but the Scientology thing.)

Saw the penultimate episode of The Punisher yesterday and have only a few minutes of series 3 of Narcos left. I am also having trouble downloading telly stuff from Amazon prime (I got a month free when I got a Fire tablet) to my tablet, the process begins but just stays in limbo. Netflix stuff downloads fine to watch offline.

Now that we've finished Taboo we were at a loss for @tvblog, so we watched Dr Strange. It was the very definition of meh. What a waste of Mads Mikkelsen. @games.blog Still playing Wardor. Am I enjoying it? Maybe. @book.blog.hashtag/internet:; The End of the Cold War: 1985-1991 by Robert Service. A book so thick it hurts to hold it. An excellent read however, and every event in the book just reminds me that we are indeed currently stuck in a repeat of the 80s but with shitter actors on the world stage.

Morning all,
Got my new website sorted last night, all good (I hope). This means I'll be able to get back to some Skyrimming tonight. My vow to keep the 'misc' missions down has failed badly, I have thousands. Off to Solstheim next to nab some Stahlrim armour. Forged some Nordic stuff for Lydia and it looks good, shame I'm going for light armour.
These look poor in comparison to the heavy counterparts, Elven armour is not in any way empowering. Scaled armour looks like you should be in Dexy's Midnight Runners.

Morning! Had a big 'reveal' on Yakuza last night. This was not a good development, I thought he was a good guy. Currently stalled as I want to finish up Kakarocho (sp?) and the Real Estate bit before activating the next story cut scene/ mission. This may take some time, but I can always race little cars whilst waiting for cash influxes. Oh, I also have a chicken as a district manager because, Japan. TV wise we finally finished Mindhunter. Excellent series but a bit of a shit ending to it, in my opinion. I got why things happened but just didn't like that they ended it there. Conchord- I don't know if you're out there, reading this. But I'm sure it was you who mentioned I get into Nier automata when I have my 3rd character. Someone said you just keep replaying the game? Are you saying it only gets good on your third run-through? Yes, that was me. Personally, I thought the game was good throughout. But the story really shone in the third 'play through'. It builds more and more as you progress. First play is great, second play is really great, third play is WBGOTYIIWFHZD (Would Be Game Of The Year If It Wasn't For Horizon Zero Dawn).

Morning chumps. Worving from home today - third day back at work. Textbook.
How the hell does anyone watching anything on a commute? Aren't you worried about a sexytime scene happening, and everyone thinking you're a MASSIVE PERVERT?
Played through some more R&C. Fun fun fun.

American Gods is free though and it's fantastic. It's decent, but watching Hollyoaks with my flatmates at uni ruined it for me a bit. I use Netflix because I find it easy to use and it's available on my phone. I mop up what I miss using popcorn time on a PC connected to my TV. It's a decent combo. I was considering having Prime replace Netflix and Spotify, but the prime video put me off to the point I didn't bother checking out the music selection.

Morning, day three of no booze although my dryathlon begins in earnest on Monday, I've just run out of beer and my all dayer tomorrow is looking tentative at best as my mate has put his back out and been off his feet for over a week now; the joys of middle age eh?
Games - none, although because my backlog isn't big enough already I'm definitely getting SotC remake as I've never played it and from what I hear it's astonishing and they've fixed the janky controls as well as made the pictures all shinier.
Other stuff - joined my new gym over Christmas, christ what a revelation it is going to a gym where pikey gypos can't hog machines for hours on end and people are actually polite to one another. I could get used to this. My remortgage goes through tomorrow and as I'll get some surplus cash I am currently bidding on something on eBay I desperately want to win. 3d10h to go. I hate eBay.
Other other stuff - being off work means I don't read the Graun or watch any news for almost ten days and I come back to the same shit as usual. Trump, Tories, global warming, etc. As you were humans, keep on fucking it up for future generations. God I need a drink already.

Thing to do is work out whether the free Prime next day delivery option will pay for itself over the course of the year and then the video / music stuff etc are pretty much free. If you order a lot from Amazon and pay for delivery now and again it almost pays for itself.

The first playthrough has really picked up now, into the amusement park area- trying to get past the boss in the theatre currently.

The first playthrough has really picked up now, into the amusement park area- trying to get past the boss in the theatre currently. It's not necessarily a long payoff, as I enjoyed it from the get go, but it does get better and better, imo. I can't say too much without spoiling it, and it has more impact if it remains unspoiled, but basically: - First 'play through' was your typical hack n slash RPG with a couple of interesting twists (memory modules, pod upgrading etc.)
- Second 'play through' showed you a different side to the story, was more in depth and had some nice twists
- Third 'play through' was just amazing, all the reveals and one of the saddest moments in my gaming experience. Rivalling the first Nier in that respect.

All this talking about Nier is making me want to play it again . . . For the 4/5/6th times?? I think I'm sold. Now I'm at the robot village it's pretty enjoyable as it is, if it gets better it's a bonus
