stxdpr got it, apparently, so I think the problem is with your ability to get it, not with my post.

I don't like the Other Place's focus on the misery that the Thomas Cook bankruptcy has caused, seems a bit crap, shitty, poopy and all round "click on me".

www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/sep/23/cats-bond-with-owners-and-are-not-as-aloof-as-they-seem-study-showsWell who would have guessed? If you've had a cat it is pretty clear they form attachments if they want to. I remember picking up one of the cats we had from a cattery. When she saw the owner of the cattery she moved right to the back, fur up back arched. As soon as she saw me she relaxed completely and was very happy to be picked up. God only knows what the cattery people did to her, but she was like that with vets and cat groomers as well. On the other (scratched) hand she did sometimes like to show affection with claws out. All the other cats we had were more even tempered.

Who'd had thought that if one was badly treated when they were young it might affect their behaviour when they're older. <edit>I know that is what you were saying but I thought I'd add my tuppence worth.

Our cat was not badly treated when young. Far from it. She just had a mean temper. She also lived far longer than more placid cats.

Even though I didn't think that was the way you treated your cat, I commented on what I thought was you point, I apologise if I was mistaken. Even so I find this hard to believe: "As soon as she saw me she relaxed completely and was very happy..."

You'd be amazed. I am not 110% monster in real life. I can get on perfectly well with humans, small children and animals. I just choose not to...
It did read like you were accusing me of treating kittens badly. But that amused me. Apology rejected as inappropriate and unnecessary. If i were offended i would make that clear

And if you choose to fail us I say we will never forgive you. We will not let you get away with this. Right here, right now is where we draw the line.
I'd definitely be nervous and fuck it all up after a threat like that. I'd make decisions in a blind panic. Approve wildly unrealistic and contradictory things while pretending everything was fine.

A bit off topic, but I once walked in on Lenny Henry taking a shit. Full pants down stuff.
[EDIT] I should clarify, it was Lenny taking a dump, not me walking into Lenny's gaff with a turd hanging out of my arse area.

What the flipping absolute heck is going on?!
No, not here, this is normal. I mean Persona. I've never played Persona before but have just spent the last 40 mins playing whichever bizarre version is on my playstation mini.
I think the teacher fancies me though, and she is rather hot.

You're having Persona lessons? I think the advice for you was probably to take personality lessons.
