Hullo. Yesterday evening Tids was outside his front door enjoying a cigarette when he spotted a feckless twat, holding a large carrier bag, approaching. 'Not another one', thinks Tids. Indeed it was.
FT: Oi mate, do you want any red meat?
Tids: No thanks, I don't eat red meat.
FT: The lady upstairs is being funny with me.
Tids: You mean Mindy?*
FT: Yeah.
Tids: Oh.
FT: Do you want any red meat?
Tids: No, I still don't eat red meat. Go and try somebody else.
*Not her real name, but a well known fence in her 80's.

It's another gloriously sunny day in the Canaries*
Unfortunately I have woken up in Norwich and it's fucking grim. If brexit ever happens, are we allowed to hoist a massive sail in the middle of the uk and sail it to warmer climes?
*the islands, not the footy team. Normal service has deffo been resumed there. Relegation battle looming already.

While queuing at departure gate yesterday an attractive young lady approached me holding out a phone and said 'excuse me sir I think you left your phone on that seat' . I confirmed I hadn't sat there, and that I still had my own device, at which point she got out a sheaf of papers and tried to flog me a timeshare. The other hundred or so folk in the queue found this highly amusing. 10/10 for effort, but.... why me?

My brother wants to play Destiny 2 again so I have been trying to download it on Steam, my god it's a huge game and it was 20% downloaded after 2 hours. Therefore I switched the PC off and began the download again today, only for some reason it has gone all the way back to the beginning and last night's effort was wasted. All this for a game which will ultimately frustrate and bore me anyway.
Anyhoo, I watched the penultimate episode of series 1 of The Man in The High Castle, probably the best Amazon show so far.

The Man In The High Castle
It's pretty, particularly if you like Nazi paraphernalia everywhere.
I thought it captured the essence of Philip K Dick pretty well.
Particularly that moment when you realise you haven't been paying attention for the last two hours, can't remember who the characters are and can't be bothered to check and find out*.
I watched the first series and parts of episode 1 of series 2.

Now that we are all prepped for our conference call to Germany during this meeting, has it been agreed that Crank is taking minutes? I'd ask gongfarmer, but he looks as if he wishes he was still on holiday. I believe we already had the first item on the agenda, Mr Tiddles reporting on crime statistics. By the way, whose idea was it to hold this meeting in Amipal's shed and has anyone figured out how to open the window?
