Also the new pes is 32 slips on psn. Any of you guys play? Is it any good this year? Last one I had was 2017 I think Also I would buy a PS Wallet top up from Shop To or somewhere. That is a further 12-13% discount. unless you don't regularly use PSN for spending. You can get a £35 card for £28.85 so you would pay £28.85 and have £3 extra towards another game. |

It is a shame that the Blog league has collapsed since Goody had children.
I very much enjoyed being mostly cannon fodder for those actually good at putting hundreds of hours into PES.

Good morning, No games. Apart from finishing Links Awakening, and starting Celeste. Hey! Congrats! I've only just finished the Face Shrine, caught Ol' Baron and am now attempting to get better times for the Rapids Ride race. I was a bit taken aback to see so many more owl statues in the dungeons. The original ones gave you cryptic hints, the new ones outright tell you the solution to the puzzle in the same room... What happened here? I can understand that some people get frustrated when they get stuck, but why would they take away the challenge for those who'd liked to be challenged? With plenty of walkthroughs available online these hints aren't really necessary. I haven't seen this mentioned in any review, either. I will try to 100% the game although I'm not a fan of some of the padding, particularly having a finite number of seashells and then having to find the last one. Love what they've done with the Trendy Game, though. I always wanted to try Celeste, but I've got far too many other games to play first. The backlog is bad. |

Some top PC comments on the PS5/Xbone two article. I'm already thinking about one of these £600 PCs with 32GB of RAM, an SSD and presumably some kind of bastard lord graphics card and central processing centre. Completely realistic.

There were a number of occasions where they told me how to do a puzzle after I'd already solved it. There was only one part of the game where I had to resort to Google. I found myself with 3 keys but nowhere to go in turtle rock. The final boss took a bit of trial and error, but other than that the whole game was very easy. Celeste on the other hand, I only did the first chapter but very nearly rage quit. |

New PES is more pes than ever. Playing a game of football on it is superb. Absolutely everything else is appalling. They have hidden bits of the menus in different places. The day 1 patch was a day 3 patch.... This meant last season's squads were there. In full. Not a single transfer. Is it worth £32? No, no it is not. You should insist on paying full price. I think gladiator is over rated but I do like midnight express. |
