Morning. Standing on a freezing platform waiting for a train at 6am is not my idea of fun. I know some people do this every day and this kind of experienve brings renewed respect for those people. (*except the ones in here obvs).
Games: no. Telly: no. Sleep: not nearly enough.

I've also just spotted one of our big bosses on the platform so I am typing this message to look busy and avoid eye contact.

Morning.
I used to get the 6:48 every morning it was rotten during the winter, meant I left work early though.
I don't miss that at all.

I probably should get out of bed. I don't want to risk being early for work though.

It's my Fri. Managed to avoid the apprentice tea boy at the station this morning. He seemed to be desperately swiping away on Tinder. As if! Even the real teaboy doesnt like him.
TV. Second half of the new MrRobot. All kicking off.
Games. Did the camp white oak mission in Division 2. Apart from a couple of triple robo dog incidents it wasn't too tricky at all.

My first job at the library I had to make tea/coffee at the morning tea break for senior staff. What was that powered milk stuff folk put in coffee? Marvel? Terrible stuff.
Just had a tightening of the sphincter passing a sniffer dug in central station. Old habits die hard.

Games: Destiny 2 is downloaded, I moved the account across to Steam and logged in to be met by some Vex things guarding a garden or something. Then it left me in the main lobby area with absolutely no guidance as to what to do or where to go. Absolutely impenetrable. Hopefully my brother is more clued up for later. I also got a few games of Apex in.
Telly: Series 1 of the Man in The High Castle is now over, good stuff overall.
OTTM: due to corporate re-structuring I am now being shifted to another part of the business and need to sign a contract and send in my educational certs all over again. I will be getting a new laptop too. This is a much more serious side of the business so I don't how much more policed the internet stuff will be.

Hey, we all had to start somewhere, though I must admit i dont recall the careers adviser mentioning Marvel mule as an option.

Just had a tightening of the sphincter passing a sniffer dug in central station. Old habits die hard. They have brought them back in Sheffield station too, don't know whether it's terrorist related or drug related. Probably drug related. We see less of the guys with guns now. Someone told me once they were all for show anyway as the dog's noses become overwhelmed in crowds after a few minutes.

I probably should get out of bed. I might be late for the toilet otherwise.

Marvel isn't an illegal white powder but probably should be.

I do not like to judge. However any client who serves really cheap coffee and whitener gets a significantly higher bill and a surprisingly high tax bill. Anyone who has a coffee machine that is too posh gets a high bill, but a low tax bill. Gold blend (or equivalent in onanistic fair trade wanker coffee) is a reasonable minimum to expect. Also real milk. No stera, no whitener.

Morning - I am back at work. I knew this day would come, but jeez....
Coffeechat! 5 of us have our own rocket-fuel club, where we brew and consume some of the strongest brands available to the high street shopper. This is of course at our own expense... while there is a free alternative, it is definitely in the 'quantity not quality' bracket. We do however abuse the free milk and sugar with reckless abandon.

I have got a second hand Gaggia Classic coffee machine in my office. It's definitely paid for itself in trips not taken to Costa. It is quite noisy and laborious to use, so ostentatiously making one for yourself while faux-apologising to visitors that it's too much hassle to make them one is a real added bonus.

It's a strong power play to refuse to offer a visitor a drink while going full beans at making your own coffee. Do you actually make them sit there for 10 minutes while you carefully prepare your own drink?

Gameschat! HONK! Elite - the saga continues. It's only been since mid-January that I set out on this trek, but the end is almost in sight. I am now within 20,000 light years from home.... which means it is within range to plot the final leg of the trip. Even with neutron boosting though this is 487 jumps. Suddenly doesn't seem so close after all. Congrats to cobblers for making it back to the bubble.... i still have almost 500 chances to fuck this up. Steady as she goes.... mind that white dwarf... don't get cocky. I still plan on selling the data in Empire space to boost my rep with them.... some of their ships look very pretty. I may just pimp one up and go mining for a change... a lot has evolved in that part of the game while I've been out here in the deep deep black. onwards...
