I’ve decided that working from home is considerably more productive than is acceptable. I’ve got shitloads done and spent far less time slacking than normal. This simply won’t do.
On the plus side, the bakery round the corner does a mean Australian Crunch.
Pasty. Pop. Australian Crunch.

Lunch: Pukka Pie. I've also been to the faux Post Office to drop off a Collect+ item. All the things. What is "Collect +"? Sounds fancy. It is a courier service, but one where you can go to a local shop to send it. There's an app and everything!

Does typing MOTHERFUCKINGKIWIBASTARDS still give infinite lives?
I think this was the first time I ever used a cheat in a game
Don't see why it shouldn't! JAMMMMM still works on Batman the Movie.

The disadvantage of working from home is that one is not safe from the Jehovah's Witnesses.
I.e. I just had a Jehovah's Witness at the door. I did not disagree with him and meekly* accepted a leaflet. Mr Tiddles, do you think he was one of yours?**
Lunch blog: Naan filled with Chicken Tikka Masala.
Yesterday I figured out that my Link's Awakening amiibo actually does a bit more than saving my homemade dungeons and looking goshdarn cute. He also summons an adorable Shadow Link into said homemade dungeons who gives you plenty of rupees and other useful stuff when you defeat him. Neat.
*I'm assuming that entitles me to inherit the earth. I'm not sure I want it, though. Looks as if it's going to overheat any minute.
**I understand you do not have a monopoly on Jehovah's Witnesses.

My preference for dealing with doorsteppers of any ilk is to simply, silently and firmly close the door in their face.
Apparently this may be considered rude, but not one of them has ever complained to me, so I’m pretty sure that’s not the case.

Answering the door is a rookie mistake, unless you're expecting a package.

Answering the door is a rookie mistake, unless you're expecting a package. I admit it was. If it's not a Jehovah's Witness or two it's either someone trying to sell something or a delivery for the neighbours who aren't answering their door, either.

Hi Heads up: Surviving Mars is now free in the Epic Games store. I bought this in my continuing quest to find a strategy game that I can play without thinking too much, along with Stellaris, Civ, CK2 and EU4 and I've failed at all of them. Let's face it, I am a turn based JRPG type of guy and proud of it. <edit>This is a beautiful picture.

...also I'm not equating failing to play a strategy game to coming out as gay.
<edit> deleted a line because it was asinine.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I too have tried, but recognise I don't have the patience. Still, the price is right and I owe it to myself to give it another go.
EDIT: I drafted my reply before your subsequent post.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I should probably download last of us, still haven’t played it. I should also probably finish Skyrim. And dark 3. Just as soon as I complete elite...

The disadvantage of working from home is that one is not safe from the Jehovah's Witnesses. I.e. I just had a Jehovah's Witness at the door. I did not disagree with him and meekly accepted a leaflet. Rookie error. Never take the leaflet. I'm surprised that they called on a Thursday. Still, nonetheless, the protocol is this. Answer the door fully naked and holding a loaded shotgun*. Explain to them that if there were only 144,000 parking spaces in the JW afterlife garage over 100 years ago they're probably fucking full now. Something, something, wasting your lives, you moronic twats. [add something about 'admiring their dedication' etc..]. Keep it jovial, then tell them to fuck off your land or you'll blow their bloody balls off. * like this.

Wasn't there a decree from the Jehovah's big man saying they'd built an extension?

Watching The Last of Us. Do I get to play it at any point? It's a tremendous game. If you know a slightly sheltered 11 year old it would be an ideal game for him to play.
