TeamworkThis was how we got a second place. By which I mean Shenguin died early. I rescued his card, waited for the attackers to go and revived him and took him to a place of safety. I then died and he rescued my card, but did not revive me. By the time he had got out of the spot where I died there were only 2 people left alive. WorkI have only just arrived. Sweet Are there loads of bots running around now? Shenguin saunters rather than runs

And a thank you to you as well, Mr T. Whilst you're here amipal. Would you like this Commodore Time computer watch for free? Needs work. I truly appreciate the thought. By "needs work", do you mean "it doesn't work?"

What I wouldn't give for a pair of tan leather gloves lined with sheepskin*... *Not Sheep2's skin, just like normal lamb's wool or something.

Hello.
This weather does nothing for my early mornings. Or late mornings. Or any other time.
I used to enjoy this time of the year, spooky October and all of that, but the current politics situation spoils it all and plunges me into a deep cold bucket of anxiety every day. I may have to work on my metaphors.
One highlight that remains is the grandchildren's birthday season. Their parents told me that they are drowning in toys and will be more so after a birthday party with 22 children, so I went down the intellectual route and made sure they'll be drowning in books like their grandparents. It takes a surprisingly long time to choose the right kind of birthday card and present for a child, and the Amazon age recommendations are bloody awful. Thank Goddess for the classics, Roald Dahl, Dr Seuss, Richard Scarry. I believe they already own the whole oeuvre of Julia Donaldson and every Peppa Pig book in existence (although the oldest granddaughter reliably informed me that Peppa Pig is for babies. Her baby sister agrees).
Anyway, I successfully avoided any sodding unicorns, but it wasn't easy.
Ganes: Finished Eagle's Tower in Link's Awakening and got another heart piece from Dampé. Only one instrument remains.
TV: More Midsomer Murders. This episode had a full on "Psycho" reference in it, shower curtain, knife, mother and all.

The one good thing* about the children left in my house by previous males is foisting my book choices on the children, and discovering that I quite like Dr Seuss, which I don't really remember from my own childhood.
*Yep, that's what I wrote, and I ain't changing it. Don't bother to criticise me, I won't pay attention.

BLT and Doritos.
I have been reading up about the history of Kurds in Turkey/Syria. I would describe the region as complex.

I expect the Armenian Community in Turkey might have something to say about the plight of the Kurds

Even at a young age I realised very quickly that this theory didn't hold water.

I expect the Armenian Community in Turkey might have something to say about the plight of the Kurds Quite. I have many friends among the Süryani minority of Turkey who more or less relocated en masse to Sweden decades ago, and they also have a thing or two to say. At least their football teams are still going strong. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Assyrian-Syriac_football_teams_in_SwedenEdit: But there's at least one thing everyone can agree on: Trump is an idiot.

If she's going to be awake for several hours after bedtime anyway, then it might as well be for a reason I understand and that amuses me.

O was planning to have a BDF tonight but I've got an awful case of the brain fog and so have settled for a nice cup of tea instead. I may have a small amount of wine later, but wine is horrible so I probably won't.
