Games: I played some Fortnite. I played much better than ever before, and got plenty of kills and two second places. Pretty sure I'm being placed in the ultrahard games with all the pros and no easybots.

What is your hat loadout, cobblers? Imposing ten-galloner? Orange Order bowler? JBG fedora? Talk to me. in game, either some shiny thing with Anubis ears or something resembling a smilodon skull which I’m quite fond of. Due to levelling issues, I’ve now been obliged to go with a nondescript generic blob, the sole redeeming feature of which is that it is hot pink. In reality, a somewhat tatty black moleskin flat cap. |

Ganes chat. TLoU is massively overrated in my humble opinion. Story, writing, character development etc. all off the charts good. Combat and encounter controls absolutely shite - played it through once as it came bundled with my PS4, then sold it. Decided I'd been too harsh on it and reacquired on PSPlus this month, replaying it on NG+ on the PS4Pro and realised I'd been right all along, hard deleted the game at the first encounter. If they fix the controls and combat stuff in TLoU2 then I am in, otherwise it can do one and I'll get Death Stranding and FFVII remake with my bottle caps. I know most people love TLoU but I cannot get along with the controls and know my best mate has the same issues with it.

Veggie burgers: none.
Other burgers: none.
Hats: in games I like to change hats frequently, but as in the 'real world' (though who can tell what's real with all the unreal stuff going down these days) I often opt for a straw hat in summer and a woollen knitted number in winter.

TLOU is easier than Demon's Souls.
It's probably less oppressive in atmosphere as well.
Though the peaks are higher.

Books! I failed miserably in an attempt to walk past Foyles at lunchtime and now posses the Usborne Book of Ghosts reissue as it was in the window. I couldn’t be happier. Proper memory lane job. Shame they haven’t done the monsters one as well.
