Hello. TV. No Games. Wee bit of switch action but was falling asleep. Broken down washing machine? Yes. New one ordered. Yes. FFS.

All in all I think it was unwise to have quaffed that bottle of red last night. The lights in my office seem very bright this morning, unlike me.

They have replaced all the lights at work with bright new energy saving LED things. It makes the morning coffee run painful even without following gongfarmer's BDW.

Do they incur that horrible LED-lighting-judder on all movements? I'm reticent to change the bulbs at home to LED, as I find that judder incredibly disconcerting.

The light strips above my desk constantly flicker like I am at a Techno event, I asked to have then changed about 3 months ago and I believe they have forgotten.
Still not feeling 100%, is this just what getting old feels like?
No games, just the rest of The Replicas on Netflix.

Sainsbury’s own brand bulbs are fine for this, as are Phillips etc. Shitty cheapos off Jeff are fucking awful. Don’t buy shitty cheapos off Jeff. You also need buffered dimmer switches. Morning clowns. I’ve just realised I’ve got the house to myself over the weekend for a primo griefhole pants fest. The Outer Worlds is downloading as I type. Full immersion, no outside contact, filthy takeaways. Rock n roll.

I am working from home today and I have a conference call at 11 a.m. and our cleaner is due "mid morning". It's going to a disaster.

Hullo. I've been to the GP's. No appts today. Explained to receptionist in graphic detail (I rather enjoyed that, she was sweet young thing*) what the symptoms were. A GP will call me at home soon. In NHS terms I'm not sure what 'soon' means.
I've only had a couple of hours sleep due to you know what. I'll play Civ Rev whilst I wait.
Cheers, Tids.
*Can I say that? It's not sexist or anythink.

MrTiddles there having a stab (what else) at filling the medical-tales-of-horror void left by Chumbles. May he RIP in peace. We expect tales of open sores, debrided skin, morphine, and a range of nursies fit to instil nightmares. It is almost Halloween after all.

I missed that post, thanks Sheep (although I am slightly suspicious of your motives) but that's just my nature. Also, I done a peanut just now. 2 massive sets of cramps and all I got was a peanut. Brexit Now!.

Very off-putting.

In my defence i spent some time yesterday evening reading a book about French wine while enthusiastically sipping Highland Park 12 year old whisky.
It turned from 1 before bed to bed after 1.
I feel pretty good today though too sober. Just a very slight feeling i slept badly.
I do not regret wishing Mr Tiddles well. Not in the slightest.
