There are no independent bookshops round here. The closest is Dr Johnson's birthplace in Lichfield I think. But that only sells second hand books.
I bought Prince's Piano & A Microphone on special edition LP. It was £30 in HMV, but £15 from Jeff. I don't mind a small premium, but that's crazy. It is excellent if you like Prince.
Also I was disappointed that the reissue of Head Music only had signed copies if you bought through Jeff. It's tough to avoid him if he has the best versions of 'flawed' albums. I did use an independent bookshop for Brett's book.
