OTTM - The outlaws are trying to invite themselves over for Christmas. Not this time, not again. I have inadvertently stumbled across a solution to this problem. We have just moved house, and my in laws don't have our new address. All we need to do is keep our phones off until boxing day. Happy days. |

These days I'm sticking with virtual pets. No vet involved, just take them to the Pokemon Centre. Speaking of which, I'm about to leave the first town. That's further than I got last time.
On Stadia, I've only just seen the complete price list for individual games and I must say, it's not as bad as I thought. It's worse.

Good afternoon all!
Today is my Monday.
Commiserations melvazord, I've never had a pet, but I did ever lose a tamagochi when I was 8- I was absolutely distraught, so I feel like in a small way I can sympathise.
Pokémon! I'm storming through it, I have 4 gym badges, my starter is fully evolved and my team is looking mean (aside from my adorable Pikachu/pancham). I am enjoying it, but I am tending to agree with the Eurogamer review that it's a bit of a disappointment.
The wild area hasn't grabbed me at all and the world in general is uninspired. Remembering back to the large areas/puzzles in silph(?) Tower and the caves from red/blue, absolutely nothing in this comes close.
I haven't picked up Pokémon since silver/gold but it is incredibly simplified.

Afternoon 'boxers. Tuesday. Ugh, feels like Thursday already.
Games: Not the video variety, not the sporting variety but the who has the biggest c**t of a dog variety. I win. Yesterday it was too early, today it was 4am, then 6am. I am so tired my tiredness hurts.
OTTM: Don't know why I bother with anything else that matters. Suicide on Christmas day looking good.

Unfortunately that's not an option, the 'Grey' council of the Chatterboxers have issued a protection order on all Melvazords in distress, that or we give a damn for some reason, and anyway Mr. Tiddles would probably do it for free from what I hear! |

In the interests of not posting spoliers, I appear to have completed the game, and not everyone lived happily ever after. The ending was not what I expected.
Playing on hard, and the warden fight was a 4 hour multi-save, epic battle, in which my death count rose to Dark Souls levels. I guess I got a variant of the 'good' ending, however have realised that I completely missed out a companion, and so have restored from a pre-Tartarus save and am off in a new direction with my new bestie. Still tempted to try a 'total bastard' playthrough at some point, and so avoid moral decisions by making everyone hate me equally. Serves you right for waking me up.
