7/10.
On the Preferred Mammal/social media question I answered "sometimes" because whatever email or social media the Pref. Mammal has, I've set it up, choosing a password for him that he probably couldn't remember if his life depended on it and am monitoring it as he doesn't know how. He's not computer illiterate - he showed me how to use a computer when I was computer illiterate - it's just that he's not interested enough to remember what keys to press.
Games: My sweet little Sobble has evolved into a moody teenager. *Sniff* They grow up so fast.

Dog experiment update. So it turns out that if you withhold water after 8pm (I only withheld to the point where if the dog hassled me for water I'd have given him some but as he didn't he clearly wasn't thirsty) it turns out the dog gets you up at 4.50am for a drink of water. And then proceeds to get you up at 6am for a pee. New hypothesis formed. If I withdraw access to water from about 9.30pm he will be fine all night as long as he has a pee around my bedtime. Results announced tomorrow.

Hello. I've a sore throat. Pray for crank. It was in the post as the child and Mrs Crank both had one. I've said it before. Vicks First Defence. I don't like inhaling drugs. I'll give it a try though.

Quiet in here today. Dear Blog hive mind, my not very old Moto G7 isn't charging. The battery is not removable. I've tried different leads, different sockets, turning it off and on again several times, and cleaning the USB-C port. I've tried to do a hard / factory reset, but it won't let me, I think as the battery is too low and it thinks I should have more battery before I mess with it's internals. If you have any helpful suggestions, please don't send them to me via WhatsApp or SMS text. Have you tried turning off your phone, then submerging your testicles in a basin of water and then switch the phone back on again? Usually works.

Alternatively he could slather his nether regions in Fiery Jack ointment shortly after which he would lose all interest in his phone, albeit temporarily.

I wonder how Melvazord's work night out went. Either he's in a police cell or he's been promoted to junior vice president. Or possibly both. No one got cut and I didn't make an arse of myself. Could go either way.

If you should ever have the opportunity to try a packet of Corkers crisps, I would strongly encourage you not to. Bloody awful.
In happier news, I have a case of delicious CWB, which may even last as long as tomorrow night.

Afternoon all.
What. A. Day. The plan was to work from home and gets some bits and pieces done around the house, as well as some online training. I had it all worked out. But you know what they say; best laid plans of mice and men?
Boy fell over at nursery, getting an inch-long cut on his right eyebrow.
So I spent the hours between 10:30 and 13:30 up at the hospital.
All fine, they glued him up good. But now I am absolutely shattered from the adrenaline-burst (plus exercise).

Melvazord works at amipal's boy's nursery, calling it. It explains the cutting and the annoyance with unproductive young people.

There is a quarterly eye-hospital appointment he attends... hmm... some of the other children in the waiting room can bend spoons with their minds, while others can read thoughts.

Some numpty has torched a car in the middle of the bridge, and i'm now on the wrong side of a 7 mile tailback. 60 miles of backroads it is then. I've not even left the office yet and already my commute home has gone to ratshit.
Games - not looking likely Downloading rest of RDR2 - not looking likely either.
