Got an invite to the project Xcloud thing. So I was streaming Forza horizon 4 to my android tablet last night. Worked well. It used my DS4 over Bluetooth with no problems. Which is more than can be said for the PS4 remote play app that needs it plugged in via USB. It was late though and didn't get a proper go. Will tonight. Shoved on subnautica for a wee bit as well.
Tried the pirate thing - sea of thieves? But some American tried to talk to me and it was only after I boosted that I realised the app had muted the mic.
If I can get the APK to play nice with my shield TV box I'll give it a go on there.
Future of gaming? Dunno.
Sourdough toast with raspberry jam and coffee for breakfast.

I've been remiss in filing my gaming receipts, a few slipped up the crack:
Star Wars Last Jedi Force Unleashed Remembrance Reinvigorated - Top banana! Its basically just Star Wars dark souls meteoroid, with proper shortcut unlocking and stuff. I even stumbled across a big bap down a side alley that smashed me to bits early on in the game.
Auto chess - My autochess game is all over the place. From smashing novices in origins to taking the win in TFT, now I'm barely scraping 6th. Although it was joint 6th with three other people so I'm counting it as 4th, maybe 3rd.

I'm on the fence with the new WotW. The main guy got on my nerves a bit. Either shouting or looking bored*.

I've been up since 9.30am due to Jeff by proxy booting me out of bed. Now I'm the proud owner of an enormous, half-price box of lens wipes and a large, half-price packet of electrical toothbrush heads. Not exactly fun, but needs must. Experimental dinner: Last night I made my first attempt at the Swedish dish Jansson's Temptation (recipe: www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/janssons_frestelse_24036) after acquiring two tins of sprats in a Swedish fishy thing offer. Not bad, although I cut the potatoes into slices rather than sticks due to comprehension issues (i.e. I'm thick) and I need to work on getting the seasoning right - the Preferred Mammal got a peppery bit on his first taste but ate the rest without complains. He polished it off and asked whether it was a vegetarian dish. When I told him that it had fish in it he said it was a good thing that he hadn't known that in advance. Finished a bottle of crisp South African Chenin Blanc with it, followed by a dram of Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold Single Malt. Would recommend. TV: Second episode of His Dark Materials. Preferred Mammal likes it despite his allergy to fantasy settings. Lord Boreal's parking tickets, nice touch. Inevitable discussion about what form our daemons would take. Preferred Mammal thinks his would be a cat. I think we both realise how much we are missing our feline. Games: Speaking of little creatures one gets attached to, Pokemon. Loving Rookidee's evolution (spoiler: mine is called Jeremy). While I was preparing Jansson's Temptation I was listening to/watching the latest Tim Rogers video. Almost 40 minutes aimed at those who don't understand the attraction of Pokemon. Note that his little brother chimes in in the comments. (I'm posting this as a public service for those who don't understand the attraction of Pokemon. Apologies for the long post.) Edit: He also knows about Birmingham and Balti. Clearly a man of good taste and culture. |

I for one am glad Melvazord is back, though I have absolutely no idea what that photo is of. I didn't like WotW, though I did start off very very angry. I think the worst daemon would be a whale shark. Really impractical. |

Due to Xmas decs needing to be down from attic I have found my WH40k assault on black whatever and Dark Vengence starter sets that I have barely assembled let only played. Lots of marines to paint. |

The box set isnt classic Necromunda, its played on a tiled board. You need an expantion to play classic way....or download the old living rulebook and just use new models with that. |
