My Operation Mercury Fallschirmjager that I won best painted with. Not my best work in my opinion, but I did hand paint all the helmet decals so it was pretty complicated if simple looking. I recognise a good miniature paint job when I see one - nice work, Melvazord.

I watched Enter The Dragon, good film but that American gambling guy wasn’t the most convincing fighter, don’t think he could raise his leg above waist height. Also, did they steal the plot from that table tennis film? Is that the first time you've seen it? Man, you come right out of a comic book

Well my main army over the years has generally been late war British 6th Airborne buuuuuut I've won more best painted with my German Einheit Steilau Battle of Bulge infiltrators soooo genuine frontier gibberish. In terms of the armies I've built it probably does skew more to the axis.

Unless I'm mistaken, you have an actual real life (and alive) preferred mammal/wife, plus job and maybe a few friends? There's no other explanation, it's witchcraft I tell thee. Burn/drown Melvazord!

Some of my friends are even real people who don't play with war dollies. Look, even I'm surprised at this turn of events. I have no idea how I've done it.

Off to John Lewis to look at car seats for kids this morning. It’s a two hour appointment.

Star Trek: Picard is airing in January? Why did nobody tell me? It sounds like it is not going to be dreadful, which everything else is, including Star Trek Discovery. Instead it is going to be brilliant. I am from this moment forth formally pumped.
I have always been a big fan of Jeff and his evil business practises, and will happily give him some money so I can watch Picard, starting from 24th January 2020 for 10 episodes on Amazon Prime.

Quiet this morning. I'll check the Star Trek: Picard thread we set up a few weeks ago. That's usually pretty busy.

I watched the last 5 episodes of Nathan Barley last night, in-a-row. I am now fully up on modern parlance, you squelchy bum-holes.
See?

This is brilliant. I've decided that I definitely won't be left with that deep void of misery and disappointment induced by STD.
STP will be the best thing since DS9, maybe even the best thing ever. Picard was the best Captain. I'm going to be so happy.

Next level sarcasm there from Shenguin. Why does he hate Picard so much?

Sat here in my pyjamas, eating leftover Chinese for breakfast/lunch. I am a sub-optimal human being.

I'm being trolled by Alienware adverts at the bottom of the page. Fuck you Dell if you think I've got that sort of money.

Games; Greek ass, it's all fine until a stupidly high level mercenary keeps following you then you can do nothing about the quest you want to finish. BDS, not much. TV, dancing and non celebrities putting things in their mouth. Lots of shopping yesterday and today has been lost to trying to get a new headlight bulb fitted. Bloody car had to be taken apart to get at the bulbs so waiting at Halfords like everyone else in the town it seems.

Bloody cheek.
*Selects yes*

There was a genuinely moving Star Trek article in the G a week or two back - interviews with people who found themselves socially outcast for one reason or another, and how much it meant to them. Has to have been at least a couple of 'boxers involved - so, thanks guys.

Why the hell can't you sort the damn boxes that hold the Pokémon? Very annoying. Yea, that's a bit of a piss take. I took an hour sorting out my boxes so I could hold the full pokedex, in order. Yes, I have no life. Back to the reason I'm here whilst not at work, 12 months of PS Plus is currently only £29.85 on ShopTo. Apparently there's only a limited number available. PSA over.

I am watching It (2017). It's sort of ok; can't help thinking Stranger Things has made this sort of thing redundant.
