Morning all! Oh, it's gone midday.
My partner has gone into Brighton today for lunch out, so just me and the boy. We've just been in a mini adventure on his balance-bike, and now he's stuffing his face with spaghetti hoops.
Gamesblog - just Civ Rev. Got to the point in all of my games where just one enemy city remains, and I'm bombarding them constantly whilst building my space ship.
TVblog - Sugar Rush, Final Space, and TNG ("Drumhead").
OTTM - was up late editing a new episode of amipal. It'll go up at some point today.

The kid fell asleep on the way home from town then awoke as I lowered him into his cot. He won't nap again so that's my gaming window gone.

Not seen it yet. Think it looks bloody awful. I’m sure it will be free on Netflix at some point so waiting for that to happen so I can watch it but not get upset at having paid for it. I purchased AVP2 once on dvd at full price & was so angry with myself afterwards I kept the price tag on the case as a reminder of how stupid I can be sometimes! I didn't pay to watch it, not financially speaking. It was on NowTV, which I get for free. Free now tv bragging. Staggering hubris |

I wrote a cheque a few weeks ago to send in the card for my niece's birthday. I looked at the previous cheque stub and it was for my niece's birthday the year before.

The Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic became separate nations on 31st December 1992, maintaining close relations, in an event sometimes known as the Velvet Divorce (after the peaceful Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia in 1989). Both countries are part of the EU, and therefore I can freely travel there, and count their peoples as my brothers and sisters, knowing we are bound by a common purpose and common destiny.

I haven't seen my cheque book in years.
A few years ago the Preferred Mammal was supposed to pay for University parking and for some convoluted reason this could only be done by cheque. We searched everywhere but couldn't find any of his cheque books. Eventually the whole thing was dropped quietly as everyone agreed that it had been a stupid idea in the first place.
The only person I know who still writes cheques is an elderly lady who can't remember her PIN or what day of the week it is.

In Resident Evil 2, one of the safe combinations is scrawled on the back of an old safe, down in the sewers. You need a torch to see it properly.
So what I am saying is, have you checked the sewers?
Edit, it's actually a combination for a padlock I think.

Morning all, I‘ve been to a shopping centre which was awful. It’s awful most of the time even during the week so today was especially bad. There were several people there! The nerve.
In other news, I’ve taken delivery of Neverwinter nights and am about to start as a wizard. Also will start playing the game at some point.
Games - back in on Star Waugh’s, it’s a love hate relationship. A terrific scene with some AT-ATs has me head over heels again. Apparently the best thing about it is the story, which I have been ignoring.
