Do David Cronenburg films tend to be suitable for children? I'm only asking because I'm watching Cosmopolis with a sick 5y-o who doesn't want to go back to bed.
Oh. Just finished. There was no head exploding from multiple different angles. I am very disappointed. 4*

I watched 'The Predator' (2018) last night. What a load of old horse balls. -4 Stars.

I watched 'The Predator' (2018) last night. What a load of old horse balls. -4 Stars. "This mindless reboot assaults viewers with reel after reel of gutting, oozing, dismembering and explosively splashing death." - Plugged In Sounded like a winner to me. Not seen it yet. Think it looks bloody awful. I’m sure it will be free on Netflix at some point so waiting for that to happen so I can watch it but not get upset at having paid for it. I purchased AVP2 once on dvd at full price & was so angry with myself afterwards I kept the price tag on the case as a reminder of how stupid I can be sometimes! |

Games. Forza Horizon 4. The influencer points bollocks is annoying. I own some sweet rides though. Edinburgh isn't totally accurate. Couldn't get to Mrs C's childhood home despite in theory being on the map.
Taking the child to gymnastics in a bit and then in charge as Mrs C off out on the lash.

I am often called Steve by mistake. Or is it deliberate? My name is on my cheques, and I sometimes pay the milkman with that. It's like I tell people my name, they look at me with concern, clearly thinking 'no way I can call the cunt *that*', and decide on Steve instead as an act of mercy. On the plus side, at least I'm not actually called Steve.

I'm pretty sure I've called our milkman the wrong name more than once. That's because we have a much higher milkmen turnover than you. I know for certain that our first milkman was Irish and called Patrick, but he left the milk business many years ago. Then I didn't know the name of the new one and still called him Patrick. I don't think he was Irish. Some time ago another new milkman introduced himself as Mike, but I fear Mike's gone as well now. Whatever his successor's name is, we just call him "Milky". Not to his face, though. |
