Sours gone. Half way through the red wine. Luckily I have a Mattisons smoked sausage in situ to help avoid a deliveroo. Mmmmmmm... Oh, and a grab bag of Squares S&V.
Spoons' Tues night steak night used to be ace. Had a tremendous one in Bristol (an old midland bank I think) a couple of years ago, as good as most. Lovely.
OTTM, I've never drank buckfest.
OOTTM, 7 more days til... (silver shamrock...)

David Bellamy was a climate change denier.
Bellamy's later statements on global warming indicate that he subsequently changed his views completely. A letter he published on 16 April 2005 in New Scientist asserted that a large proportion (555 of 625) of the glaciers being observed by the World Glacier Monitoring Service were advancing, not retreating.[22] George Monbiot of The Guardian tracked down Bellamy's original source for this information and found that it was from discredited data originally published by Fred Singer, who claimed to have obtained these figures from a 1989 article in the journal Science: however, Monbiot proved that this article had never existed.[23] Bellamy subsequently accepted that his figures on glaciers were wrong, and announced in a letter to The Sunday Times in 2005 that he had "decided to draw back from the debate on global warming",[24] although Bellamy jointly authored a paper with Jack Barrett in the refereed Civil Engineering journal of the Institution of Civil Engineers, entitled "Climate stability: an inconvenient proof" in May 2007.[25]
Bit uncomfortable.

Can I jump on the Bellamy hate wagon too?
Often had my beard compared to his. Or that I looked like Bellamy emerging from a bush.
Never anything like, oh hey, great beard, you look like Rolf Harris, oh no.

The Bush reference isn't helping.
But, I too, am a man with a beard. A fine beard, well it used to be more fine. What was a nice dark thicket of beard, is now 60 % white /Grey.
P.s I've had my beard since 2005. Apart from the beard I had circa 1991 when I was an abnormal early growth 16 yr old , who could grow a full beard.
It was cool then (get served etc) but now it's a curse as I look about 85.

I hope that traitor-to-humanity David Attenborough goes next. He's probably more to worsen climate change and fail his fellow humans than any other living Britton.
