aaand they've arrived, lots of young people and one old bloke who looks like "The Boss"*, it just gets better. Any of you lot having a Christmas party today? *not in a Bruce Springsteen way. <edit>young as in late twenties, kill me now. Hi! Yes. Drink will be drunk, there will be people in attendance between the ages of 17 and 60-something, there may even be chips being eaten. There is a very loose sort of fancy dress theme or the old stalwart black tie code. So I’ve got a DJ, but someone in the team seems to have bought heavily into the whole fancy dress thing. Consequently I’m going as some sort of well-attired furry, it seems. I have ears to wear, I gather. As long as it further distracts me from the bleak reality of our collective mordorisation, I’m all good. |
