ShenguinWe had fish and chips last night, so I'm pretty sure I've ingested a 1 pint plastic bottle in its entirety. I had haddock, and the boy cod, so at least he is also doing his bit to ruin Greta's future (as well as his own).

Backing up hundreds of GB's of family videos, photos and documents from the in-laws pc before I install an SSD. Marvellous.

The Witches series really is very good, the new Expanse series is pretty good too. Two-eps into The Witcher. I'm enjoying it more than the game. 4* I too have been Expansing, I binged on the Expanse this week and finished it off on Saturday - then proceeded to binge on the Witcher and finished that off Saturday night - 4* on both. I am also away for Xmas with the preferred companions elderly (dementia) mum and family, so blogging will be spotty but I am still sending happy vibes to all. further to: I can't understand why they don't make two or three seasons of a new series at once before putting it out into the world, most of us viewers binge episodes for consistency of content and story, it must be financed based. that's all.. RIP Martin Peters - up the hammers!

Why didn’t tent hen just send the relative on a luxury cruise is my question. Sounds more cost effective.

I have put on the Sufjan Stevens Christmas CD and my wife has told me it's awful. This is the traditional start if the festive season in our household.

Why didn’t tent hen just send the relative on a luxury cruise is my question. Sounds more cost effective. Or, to put it differently, why didn't she just go on a luxury cruise herself? With our new government it's time for the elderly and the disabled to get used to getting screwed. Maybe I should move my finances to the Cayman Islands to complete the look. I've just done a Turkish barber job on the Preferred Mammal. He no longer sports the seasonal Father Christmas look. Enough fluff came off to knit another Preferred Mammal out of. A really itchy one.

This is my other favourite Christmas thing. Also a useful line for Tenthen to drop while passing through Edinburgh, should she wish to share festive chat with the locals. youtu.be/zFFvLNXRPKU

Vastariner managed to get a joke into the first comment, that, so far at least, has managed to stay the right side of Frank.

Its great to see everyone really getting into the spirit of things for the last wiggler Wednesday of the decade. They've even put up decorations in the local shopping centre, although I'm not sure what all these red hats and 'Santas' are about, presumably some niche sub-religion of the wiggler creed. Still we're a Broadchurch, everyone is (wiggler) welcome.

En route to Sainsbury's. Some booze to purchase for gifts. Is it pronounced "jifts"?
Then home to some chores, wrap Mrs C pressies - not booze - and then a gaming window. Work tomorrow and that's me.
24 hrs at MrsCs folks and I've caught their cough. Fucks sake.

Went to Asda at 10am this morning to pick up some cavonia for my chesty cough. Witnessed the apocalypse, or at least the closest approximation involving a pile of sprouts. Fucking savages.

Faceless Is Outer Wilds good? Only played the first few minutes so far. It's got a nice feel to it. Ideal for a hangover. The controls are fiddly as fuck though. I'm hoping to have a proper crack at it later. Will report back.

Just got time to get into Mario and Sonic Olympics. Pretty sweet, though the opposition seems . . . . oh, do you know what, I can't be arsed with this. Tuffers is rubbish, and I'm cool. That's the basic message. It's not true though, I'm a shit, truth be known.
Fuck the Tories.

Where is everyone? I think I watched HDM, but I can't really remember because there was a guest ale on at the pub. It was 6.6% and I'm fine, really ok, but it was too sweet and sickly, so I didn't drink very many pints, I think. Who knows, whatevs.
I didn't watch A Christmas Carol. I'm glad you enjoyed it Felice, though I suspect it's not for me if there aren't enough daemons in it, or anyway.

I'm glad you enjoyed it Felice, though I suspect it's not for me if there aren't enough daemons in it, or anyway. I just read the number one trending topic on Twitter in the UK - "A Christmas Carol", there are a lot of angry people out there, the main complaints appear to be: 1. Why take a classic and make it different 2. No Muppets 3. A black Mrs Cratchitt 4. English teachers complaining that their pupils will be confused. (I'm not sure a lot of these are real teachers) 5. Swearing 6. and fuck knows, lots of confused rants It appears that the people who express themselves on the internet only want the BBC to broadcast things that they want to watch and uphold the values they hold. And if by some miracle they do that it will be wrong because of the lack of Daemons. I feel a touch of despair, luckily my life is good and I don't have to care about these people and I will have a great Christmas (and birthday)
