Happy New Year all. I hope you've all posted a string of clichés on your respective Instagram accounts to let everyone know that you'll be making the necessary changes to ensure that 2020 will be your year. Why am I still awake at 1? Mario Odyssey has a lot to answer for. What a game. I'm on the moon level now so hoping to finish it tomorrow and then get to work on the seemingly endless amount of moons and coins. Festive period has went well for me: new preferred mammal introduced to my mum, plenty of food food and booze consumed, and of course Stevie G's glorious victory in the East end of Glasgow. Back to work on Monday. I can feel it beginning to loom ominously over me

Morning all.
Gamesblog - spent a large hunk of my evening of DQB2. Thanks to building a second tiny-room, I now have plenty of nightsoil, meaning loads of fertiliser and worm food! So the settlement is now looking particularly green. I'm also well on my way to acquiring all of the seeds I need to get the Dietree growing to it's fullest. Everything's comin' up amipal!
TVblog - a tiny bit of Chef and my Fridge.
OTTM - back to work today. I was hoping to be in the office (seriously), but have had to WFH due to childcare (need to puff the boy throughout the day).

I don't do Instagram, but I did get added to a WhatsApp group set up by someone I don't even know particularly well, where they posted a narcissistic wall of text review of their year. I only read as far as "wow. What a year 2019 has been for me. Lots of highs and lows" before deleting it and leaving the group.

Wow. What a year 2019 has been for me. Lots of highs and lows. January started with the first few days of the first month of the year, and things have continued apace since then! February saw lots of emotions, and also some comedic value. After all that, a restful March was just what I didn't get, as more events occurred. We were all emotionally responsive to the events of the following month, which in 2019 happened to be -- you've guessed it! -- April!! Oh Boy! And then, following swiftly on the heels of the previous month, was May. What. A. Calendar. Month. By the time we reached June, it was notable that the weather had followed its usual cyclical pattern for the first six months of the year, and it was now warmer than January had been.
Next up in this narcissistic wall of text review of my year is July, which had 31 days in it this year, all of which had some events occurring in my life on them in this particular year!! As one thing follows another in a repeating cycle, so August followed July, and I think we all know what August means, but look in a dictionary if you don't. September rather crept up on me this year, as I had forgotten about its existence, but I was reminded of it when it happened!!! October was another month with happenings which elicited emotional and sometimes physical responses. In November I remember that there was some anticipation that the annual cycle of months was coming to an end, and with it there were changes to weather patterns consistent with the Earth's procession around the sun. And so, finally, and some would say lastly, into December, which being at the end of the year which has just finished, was the most recent month in this review to have actually occurred!!

Top effort Shenguin. Like Craig David with footnotes. I've got a friend who sends round-robin letters with the Christmas card - where the family went on holiday this year, whether anyone got promoted at work, etc etc. He's younger than I am (ie very young). Just goes to show, you cannot ever really know what people are capable of and you should never trust anybody ever.

One of my friends each NYE puts out a huge Facebook post summarising each month of the year, I didn't realise It was a thing. In case any of you are interested I mostly ate cheese sandwiches, played multiplayer FPS games badly and planted my demon seed in Mrs Fark.
I also now have another cold which has left me sounding like Barry White.

Wow. What a year 2020 has been for me. Yesterday was wiggler wedensday, and now in the natural whores d'oeuvres of things, today is Thursday. Yesterday saw me installing Dark Souls 2 again, and playing as a cheaty wizard. I just discovered* that you can buy two of the same spell and attune both to have twice as many casts of it, so I now have 60 soul arrows, and I'm about to find the greater soul arrow. I'm bossing it and taking time to think back on everything I've achieved in 2020, as well as the emotional roller coaster of having to wait about 15 minutes for the bloody 62MB patch to install on the PS4. Its been a real growth experience and checking in with myself now has been a great way to bookend the year so far.

Last night / this morning's boooooring, login - fart the time - back to sleep routine confirms I'm happier playing NP and it isn't NP that keeps me awake. So I've set up The Dark is Rising

That's us home now. Thank fuck. Huge pile of unpacking to do.
Luckily we got everything inside before the heavens opened. Absolutely chucking it down.
If the rest of the family can just go out or to bed now please so I can get reacquainted with my PS4.
