I like the homage to Star Wars... My latest Neptune's Pride game has started. And of course the most crucial time is from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m.... lovely. So I will be in here sporadically from now on.

Obliged guys; last game's hyper-combustible, ranting nutter hasn't joined ... apparently he enjoyed learning from me, but couldn't stand all the backstabbers in the game. Ex-US Marine Corps, invalided out after being caught in a bomb blast, so I allowed him far more latitude - which he used to stab me. I only know one of the other players in this new game... I do hope the others will be friendly ... |

Watched the final part of Dracula last night. Perhaps not on par with the first two, but enjoyed it overall.

I sent out my carriers expecting another bad night ... between 2 and 9 I only woke 3 times making this the best night's sleep in months - my carriers have reached more stars than the other empires. Go figure ...

Ganes: yes. A bit more Outer Wilds, then started The Outer Worlds. So far so good, although I've yet to meet an npc I don't want to shoot.
Tv: started ep1 of the Witcher. Fell asleep.
Ottm: off to see Startrek Wars later. I'm preparing for it by reading some spoiler free nerd rage on twitter.

Bit of Mario Kart & Odyssey co-op with the child. She beat her first boss on Odyssey. They grow up so fast

As I said last night I started far cry 5. Not off the wee island yet. Amazed how great it looks. Need some closed back headphones though to drown out Mrs C the laptop fans.
Watched some 80s TOTP thing as well last night. Entertaining. Lol'd at how many random songs I knew all the words for.

In between moves doing backups ... effing complex, but having upgraded both primary and secondary rig boot drives to *Samsung 1tb SSDs, split out my Audio books from the main data drive (1.5+tb of those) to a new 4tb abooks drive I am now adding in all the new Audio books and music to the new drives, cataloguing them and backing them up to the new drives on my HP fileserver cube... I'm being bloody careful as it's damned easy to lose stuff ... And I am also playing NP and doing minor chores in the gaps...
But I have seen the first 10m of Aquaman and it looked like an advert. for Charles Atlas bodybuilding course with a flimsy story wrapped around a set of abs and not much else. Is it worth watching through?
*those drives were not EVO drives but they were only £94 each in the Black Friday sale

Worked out my spending from last year and I appear to be spending, on average, £400 a month more than my income.
May have to make a few adjustments, one good thing is that this is lower than the previous year.
