happy 2020. Xmas involved being very ill and attending a funeral. 4 stars. Gaming Decided to press on with Divinity Original Sin 2. I need to find more turn based RPGs. Somebody, somehow, has faked my signature on a cheque at work and made it payable to a dodgy used car sales company. Luckily the bank put a hold on it, probably as the cheque number was really high compared to recently issued cheques. I will now take centre piece in an upcoming fraud investigation.
And beef mayo sandwich. Bit of red onion.

Afternoon 'box. Happy New Year and all that jazz. What did I miss?
Janes: Plenty of sekiro progress, although a tad miffed that my video capture of beating the second guardian ape seemed to vanish into the ether after I saved it. Crappy PS4 capture software. For those who want to marvel at my thoroughly not clutch dispatching of the first guardian ape, it's on my youtube channel. I am kind of a big deal you know. Also started Hellblade. Very nice atmosphere through the cans, although I suspect gameplay-wise I may struggle with the combat.
Movies: Star Wars was ok. Just Ok. The Gentlemen was fun, mainly because most of the audience recoiled in horror every time the c bomb was dropped whereas I found it thoroughly chucklesome (the audience reaction, not the use of the c bomb, at which I am an expert exponent).
TV: Witcher - quite good fun.
OTTM: The dog is still with us.

Headphone chat. The old boy next door turned up with a replacement set of laptop cans a few days ago. As you may recall the deal was for 1 shilling in recompense. This was duly negotiated down to a sixpence. i.e. half price, as they were not in mint condition.

OTTM: The dog is still with us. Excellent news. I, sadly, haven't got video capture - well, the patience to set it up and, more importantly add back a mike. I cannot set one up in the space I have without constant noise from nose-blowing etc. figuring. And no way am I going to enable cortana so that M$ can capture and use my input. |

It's built in on the PS4 (and am assuming XBox 1 too) - the console is constantly recording the previous 15 minutes of gameplay etc. and when you want you can just hit the share button to save the video. I don't run the PS4 into the PC and use a capture card.
What's weird is it usually "just works" but after defeating GA v2.0 I did the usual and nothing saved - shame as it was an epic fight which I definitely didn't clutch win.

Back 'at' work, wiggling from home. I was sending out an email about a meeting and forgot where my office is and had to look it up.
Video games - Got some Neverwinter nights in. My giant panther started attacking inanimate objects for no apparent reason and my rod of frost* with unlimited casts no longer lets me cast it. 4 stars.

The capture works on ps4 if the game allows it. Sometimes it's blocked to stop spoilers

My signatures are hugely varied as I am a bit sloppy, so I examined all the cheques I had signed over the past year (I scan them all before posting) and I am certain I have found where the cheque was copied. I will keep digging but detective Babyfark is on the trail.

There’s a Freddie Mercury guy who performs regularly in the pubs of Sheffield, but he seems to have hatred of Bohemian Rapsody so we therefore continually request for it to be played.

I know a German guy who looks exactly like Freddy Mercury. When we decided to mention this to him after a few drinks one time, he said that people often told him this, but he was not familiar with Freddie and didn't know any Queen songs. Incroyable.
