Isn't BabyFark the resident expert on cheques anyway?
Just got back from a nice meal in Brighton. Pizza Express. No royals were present, and the boy behaved himself. 4*

In any case, the last time I wrote a cheque was November 2019. The time before? November 2018. (Both for my niece's birthday) I'm guessing the next (and probably last) time will be November 2020 when she turns 18. Worst uncle.

Good evening.
Dinner: Calamari, Greek salad, dolmades, quaffable white (sadly no retsina).
Video James: yes! Still spending time to get more friendly with my Sawk as I'm facing the Dark Gym and so far haven't paid much attention to my fighting type Pokemon and their karate chopping ways. I'd probably be okay with the existing team, but I like the process of getting friendly. So I'm just running around the Wild Area collecting more Pokemon; my Pokedex is now nearly 200. To have more quality time I pitched my tent and was quickly joined by one trainer and then two more. After playing for a while I suggested making curry and everyone agreed enthusiastically. I whipped out some quality ingredients and we started the cooking.
It was glorious. When the four of us put our hearts into it all at the same time they combined into a shining beacon - Charizard Class! Those plates were licked clean.
In reality I can't stand having other people getting in my way in the kitchen.
Clearly it is not the most intellectual game but it speaks to me in unexpected ways.

Meet Ruthendia the Cold - High Elven Necromancer... over 1,650 hrs. of Age of Wonders III and I simply can't stop playing it... I know the compulsions of game playing tenthenemy - once you're hooked ...

Hello everyone! Somehow, we all woke up at 8am here... amazing scenes.
After getting in from Pizza Express last night, I spent the rest of the evening playing DQB2. I'm now rolling in silver and on the hunt for gold. The new, fancy bar now has a swimming pool, with plenty of thing-wearing miners going for a dip. We also have a shower room.
Next build: a relaxation room.

The new, fancy bar now has a swimming pool, with plenty of thing-wearing miners going for a dip. We also have a shower room. Next build: a relaxation room. But how are things going in DQB2? Morning. About to make minestrone. TV. The Morning Show. Three episodes in. All hotting up and very entertaining. Games. A wee bit of Far Cry 5. Ended up with a flamethrower. Pyromania aside it's rubbish. Need to dump it for a proper gun. Uncharted 2. In Nepal mooching about looking for a shrine. Sacked off #1 as I kept getting killed on the jet ski. Will go back to tonight.

I've been playing Tekken 6. All the games.. Who do you go in Tekken? I always played as Law or Eddie Gordo. I'm playing as Raven on Scenario mode, which is a sort of 3d scroller with an AI buddy. Loot boxes give you character mods such as elemental attacks. You can pick up chain guns & flamethrowers as well. It's a lot of fun and boss battles. In other news, I should not have eaten that curry last night. Chicken Korma? More like Chicken Stormer. Morning.

Don't think I've ever played that Tekken mode.
You could stand a spoon in my minestrone. Lovely stuff.
Dishwasher full and on already? Sorry Greta.

Cheque yourself before you wreque yourself.
Minestrone. Talk to me.
Someone once told me to keep hold of my Parmesan rinds as they help with making minestrone soup.
I have a bag full in the freezer.
Games. I got to the end of Mario Odyssey last week so went back to Mario & Luigi U - was stuck on a bit in the Rock Candy Mountains. And am still stuck.

Yeah you're meant to chuck one in towards the end I believe and let it melt down.
Never tried it. Would want to try with a smal batch first I think!

Hello. You know it's not going to be a good day when you get out of bed with a Babyfark-sized backache. I finally accepted that it's not getting any better and have taken some painkiller. How exactly I got this affliction is a mystery but the Most Preferred Mammal is pointing the finger at a 16 bottle strong wine case that I had to handle* recently. He might have a point. So I'm mainly sitting on the sofa with a good, firm cushion in the back to give some relief. Luckily it's a good position for playing games, so it's not all bad. Did I tell you that Father Christmas brought me Fire Emblem Three Houses? This shows that a) Father Christmas has good taste in games and b) Father Christmas hasn't seen my backlog. One thing I haven't played yet but downloaded is the demo for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon remake. Patricia Hernandez has an article on Polygon about said demo and its personality quiz that taught me a new meaning of the verb 'to drag'. www.polygon.com/2020/1/10/21060055/pokemon-mystery-dungeon-rescue-team-dx-nintendo-switch-demo-quizShe's giving the example of the question " A human hand extends out of a toilet! What would you do? a) Scream and run, b) Close the lid without a word, or c) Shake hands with it." She calls the question "bizarre", but the only bizarre thing about this is that all three responses are totally wrong. As any Zelda player knows, the only acceptable response in this situation is to procure some kind of paper (title deed, letter to mother, heartfelt love letter) as bog roll. *Edit: i.e. lift it, not drink it, regrettably.

Hi!
Chicken stew on the hob. Might have overdone the red wine. We'll see. A full bulb of garlic too. I'm basically French. Horr hee horr.
Similarly to Crank, I'm killing Greta's pet dolphins future and have the dishwasher on.
I'm playing Shadow of The Tomb raider. It's exactly the same as Rise of the Tomb Raider. I must have put nearly 100 hours into that one trying to get 100% completion on the collectibles. I never did. Think I got to around 95%. I'm not sure I'm enjoying this game. Four stars.
OTTM, just set up wifi boosters in a couple of drop zones in the house. They actually appear to have worked. 4.9 stars.

Tuffers did you go mesh or just use range extenders? We're lucky our hovel is so small you get full WiFi ground, 1st floor, attic.

Erm, range extenders I think. Plug a smaller one into socket near hub, hook it up with an ethernet, then other larger devices can be plugged elsewhere, get them to talk to each other, and definitely NOT send invisible death rays to the family's brains, hey presto!
I have a virgin media super hub. I'd previously spent about £20 at Currys on something which the guy told me would sort it. It didn't. So I rang up everyone's favourite bearded train franchise owner and one of his best Indian friends sent me some kit, for free! Yes, Free! (if you ignore the monthly subscriptions I pay, oh).
From this day forward, I wont hear a bad word said against the balloon obsessed vinyl pedlar, he's a good man, and thorough.
