Morning.
It is now my firm belief that Rimworld was made to break you.
Third colony was still going well. Sent out a caravan to complete a helpful trade, didn't send a guard as it was a short trip. Got ambushed and my peaceful 'I can't lift a weapon' trader got taken as prisoner, along with my goods, by a man armed with a stick ffs. I'm not ashamed to admit that I alt+F4'd out to save scum. On the reload I sent my only decent guard with it, only for the base to be attacked instead. Two dead. Looks like it's time for colony four.
Maybe I should just resign myself to the fact that I shouldn't be a supreme overlord to a settlement on a distant planet. Either that or switch from 'Normal' down to 'Easy'.

Off to Perth (and Kinross - not bushtucker land) today for a software usergroup. Bit of a skive if I'm being honest. Will be useful but still. As it's my Friday it's particularly sweet.
TV. Finally got round to watching the first episode of The Mandalorian. Aren't you* a cutie.
Games. Uncharted. Almost finished the first one I think though not got anyway near all the collectables. Stuck on a bit so carried on with some of the second one.

Last night I went to have a mosey around the Betelgeuse system, before it goes pop. * I’m absolutely fine, I can stop any time I like. *in reality, I should add that I am not aware that frontier have any plans to make it go nova in-game, though that would be awesome. Bit more Outer Worlds. Went to some sort of pig farm to do a killing, convinced the guy I'd go back and kill the original quest giver instead, then murderized him with a plasma rifle to the back of the head. 4 stars.
