Place wot cuts my hair recently jacked up the price from 11 to 13 quid. I'm LIVID, but what's the alternative, go somewhere else? Fuck that.

Not had haggis in ages. Ever had a haggis supper from the chippy? Haggis pakora is another top deep fried haggis variation.
I know... Scottish folk deep frying stuff. Who'd of thunk it.

When I was out and about earlier I saw a mindful drinking festival. It seems to be about mindfully drinking non-alcoholic drinks, and includes low alcohol beer and non-alcoholic spirits.
I’m not sure I get it. Spirits and beer taste horrible so why would you even want an alcohol free proxy??

Drinking alcohol free anything? Maybe coffee but man up wet pants. All the Aberdeen chippers would do deep fried anything when I was up there. Still nae sure about red pudding. Games, none. Some strong ish beers from Tesco.

Josh Brolin in 'Old boy' at 9pm on TCM.
It's no Goonies, but what is?
Four stars.

Also is every spoons a festival of unmindful drinking? I'm no expert, obviously, but from what I've seen the 'spoons clientele are very mindful of what * they are drinking. I know I am. * What, sure; 'how much' maybe not so much.

Morning Everyone. I like the taste of beer. But I'd probably drink it even if I didn't.

Some strong ish beers from Tesco. Medical reasons for me. 37 years drinking beer and wine, with only one day off (double vision) then WHAM - septic shock and not only will it likely kill me (3 x septic shock etc fucks the kidneys up a treat ... But drinking don't make you a hero ... In other news I had a spectacular fail in opening the tamper proof packaging on my new Perixx trackball ... I cut through the lead.

Gaming chat. I played one game of Apex where I killed to death a Wraith, before dying in the next battle. Some Witcher 3 too, I need to locate the Baron's wife but there is no longer a golden trail to spoon feed me to the objective, so I may have to actually apply brain power to this one. Or maybe the trail will be back tomorrow.

I played the 3rd person Apex. Nearly got my first kill but I panicked and shot too early. Insert obligatory joke here.
The second game we came second. The two other guys were amazing.
TV. The Morning Show. Backstabbing and intrigue.

Games: painfully slow AoW3, NP in a normal speed game winding down to either a 2nd or 3rd... horrible position at the start so parleying it up to a place is good (I tell myself) but at least I can sleep normally (for me), although the cycle end at 4.15 a.m. is brutal as the consequential actions, discussion, planning feel like I'm being hit by soft toys - not painful but by the time I have finished it's 30 minutes to go to tablet time and I feel exhausted - not a good start to the day. TV: Saturday kitchen... but who doesn't... and I have finally reached the final episode of Elementary S5, but 5+* - Chumbles TV Review "The best series since House"

I just love waking up at 4.15 a.m. on a Sunday after 4h sleep, to do series of calculations, ablute and then try and sleep for an hour then get up again to make ready for Nursey... I am so ...
