Hello all.
Adults who cannot manage their own money wind me up. No wonder there is so much private debt in this country.
TVblog - more of It's Always Sunny and some TNG.
Gamesblog - more of DQB2. I'm building a miniature railway for the homesick miners.
Amigablog - new sweet content on the way!

I have no time for the catholic church... I will not waste my time going on about their infinite capacity for hypocrisy, or the manifest stupidity of believing that a pope is the mouthpiece of a god who apparently has no interest in protecting small children from the attentions of his corrupt priests nor correcting the perversion of 'his' words to facilitate the suppression of women. Let alone the treatment of those who fall outside of conventional sexual stereotypes. My maternal Irish grandmother was hounded by the priest and threatened with hellfire and damnation for marrying a Protestant. It only stopped when neighbours threatened (credibly) to beat the evil bugger up. I'm here to recommend a brilliant and very funny BBC R4 programme that started today, starring Joanna Lumley and Roger Allen Conversations from a Long Marriage

[/div] I'm here to recommend a brilliant and very funny BBC R4 programme that started today, starring Joanna Lumley and Roger Allen Conversations from a Long Marriage[/quote]There are a couple of older episodes on BBC Sounds at the moment, but annoyingly there is no "See all episodes" button so one has to search for them separately. One is from Dec 2018 and only has three days left to listen. I think I heard the other one recently on the actual radio, possibly on a Sunday. Roger Allam (correct spelling) is brilliant in Cabin Pressure.

I went out for a walk just now, sporting my LED watch. I had "Stayin' Alive" playing in my head. It was great. 4*

Amigablog - new sweet content on the way! It better have some hot Syndicate action in it. I'm not sure how to tell you this, MrT... The episode in question features games which, while running on an Amiga, and one of them also being published by Electronic Arts, are definitely not Syndicate. Sorry.

I'm with Tids on this one. Syndicate or GTFO.

In other news, I've just been for a run and passed a homeless guy having a wank in a doorway. He was singing away at the top of his lungs.

It was hard to tell what he was singing. Possibly Stayin Alive.
Now I think about it, he also had a pretty sweet watch.

I love it when the train leaves the station then stops. Marvellous.
Some more uncharted 2 later and perhaps some more apex legends. But first bin night/ Asda order / visit to the Chinese takeaway. Not in that order.

Not in that order. You'd prefer the train to never stop, just keep on going to the second star to the right and straight on 'til morning?

I love it when the train leaves the station ... or as daft old Prof Einstein used to say: The station leaves the train.

For a moment I thought the cathcart circle was some sort of existential theory.
