Morning. No games. Watched two episodes of McMafia. Enjoying it but the main guy seemed a bit wooden. Hopefully come out his shell now he's being bad.
Talking of gangsters. More Gomorra on the commute.
Off to talk to a P7 class this morning. Could really do without it.

Bit windy last night and most the snow melted.
Some Peaky Blinders on the train and no games.

Morning. When I got in from work I didn't need to go around smelling bedding and curtains, my face being blasted with the aroma of herbs and spice when I opened the door confirmed it: Fergus Wilson will have to ban white tenants too. Well, he would if he wasn't just a bog standard racist. Star Wars I enjoyed it, but the humour felt a bit off. They should have probably kept that sort of change of tone to the spin-offs, at least initially. Also, all the constant talk of "turning" Kylo just made me think of that Seinfeld episode where Elaine is trying to date a gay guy.

Morning all. No games, finished s4 of Brooklyn 99 and wrote most of an assignment.
I wonder what the news has in store for me today.

He (indeed no one on his ship) had been told about the plan.

I take it you've read this and are not satisfied?

I don't remember a part of the film where the plan is explained over the comms. In fact why would the rebels even do this with a stranger on board? At most they would have to provide a rendezvous point to his ship.

Morning all!
Stardew update, because I know you're all dying to know the latest. Community Centre in year 1 now just hangs on the Gypsy stocking a red cabbage. I have a pig, who should produce a truffle before the end of fall, and I should have enough time in winter to nab a rabbits foot from the desert mine. Getting tense over in t' valley.
TV wise we watched Impractical Jokers. The latest series seems to have hit a good stride. Many belly laughs were had.

At most they would have to provide a rendezvous point to his ship. I think they contact the ship when they're about to shut down the tracker on the baddie's ship and the woman with the longest neck in the world says they're abandoning ship. That's all the info he gave to the first order, which prompted them to run a scan and find the pods. Edit: one more 'ship' for good luck.

Star wars.
Even if a ship loses fuel it will continue at the same speed in space because physics.
The first order will still not catch up to them.
Also why do the ship seem to capsize as if in water?
Why didnt the purple haired woman not tell Poe the plan?
Its one of those movies that the more you see it the more its gonna annoy you. Like in empire when they go straight through the blockade rather then any other direction.

Yo
Our network is still down, 4 days into this now. It's getting to the point where I'm now fairly sure they'll use this as an excuse for a round of redundancies. "Sorry, we lost too much money, get out"
Played some GT Sport, two horrible races, one where I clearly had a much slower car than everyone else and just got mugged on every straight. Second race was just full of dirty bastards with no class at all.
We watched Rogue One again last night, great film. Bit choppy at the start but certainly superior to the two other new ones.

The inconsistencies concerning the earlier Star Wars films can best be explained as when I watched the originals I was a kid.
As a kid I had little idea of physics and stuff and certainly no interest in the application of this within the context of space battles. I have marginally more understanding of physics, but accept the recent Star Wars films are kids films, just repackaged enough for adults who'll love a bit of nostalgia.
Fair play to them, I wear replica armour dating to the 1st century AD. I'm not going to tell people that nostalgia is a bad thing.

Morning,
Tv: finished Stranger Things 2. That means I will hopefully no longer have dreams in which I'm cleaning the Upside Down.
Games: Zelda, gambolling through the wet meadows, playfully disposing of a Guardian that I used to avoid in that area. My, Link, how you have grown.
Dinner: sausage casserole, and I accidentally spilled some of it over my Splatoon shirt. This displeases me. Maybe I should switch to cooking au naturel.
At the end of the evening I remembered that Nintendo had promised some kind of new announcement, so I watched it on YouTube and was delighted to see that Keza had already an article ready. What would she do without Nintendo Directs? Anyway, I'll need that shit once the grandchildren are older.

Plot holes and continuity errors in a Star Wars film? I'm shook.
Morning! Last night I went back to Witcher 3 for the first time in about 4 months. Couldn't remember the controls or what I was supposed to be doing, so I just wandered around toussaint for a bit then sacked it off. Watched a few minutes of the football just to top up my Chelsea hatred levels.
What a life

I’m pretty sure Benecio of the Toro is in the room when they get told about the thing and that’s how he knows about the thing. How would the others know the thing he told about either if they hadn’t been told it over the comms?

The quality has been desperately poor so far, a recycled article about local multiplayer gaming (also available on that other site she worked for, so presumably got paid twice) and two short articles rewording Nintendo press releases. The Nintendo labo thing does look pretty cool though, they are really smashing it out the park with the switch.
