I also continued my dismal run on Apex until my last game where I killed 3 players and re-spawned both my teammates like a pro.

On a busy train full of students. They've all got coffee and I don't as I was running late and decided to do the "right" thing and not be late.

I’m sitting at the front of the train for a change, really switching things up.

Games - more of the Tokyo fire mirage sessions #canteven think I’ve caught up to where I was in the wii2. The battle system really keeps things moving, but I don’t think it has the classic SMT enemies? No penis chariot try anyway. Four bananas

OTTM - still not dead. I’ve left quarantine in Ground zero for the Dakyl flu. Still hoping I’ll get horribly ill in time to take the rest of the week off.

I've had a weekend full of this with my 2 year old. Every time I dressed to him he wanted to wear something else, he never wanted to go outside and he insisted on carrying an armful of toy cars everywhere he went which he kept dropping. And he pooed in the bath.

Septic shock is supposed to be a more common source of death and the odds of dying in old folk is 60-40%**, which is a colossally high mortality range and I've had it 4 times so a) I'm fucking lucky to be alive and b) I have a cynical attitude to the instant beatification of the recent dead*.

*I hope when I move on to fresh pastures you change 'that cunt Chumbles' to 'that dead cunt Chumbles' - anything else would be bullocks.

Sepsis mortality rates are at best estimates, partly because although recording it as a cause of death has improved vastly, sometimes it's still not recognised or recorded separately from the underlying infection (e.g. pneumonia leading to sepsis might just be recorded as pneumonia).

The really shocking thing is that a large proportion of deaths from sepsis, probably about 10,000 a year could be avoided, according to NHS England's own figures. Recognising the symptoms, providing advice to patients and prompt treatment are the best ways to reduce sepsis deaths, but that's more difficult to do and implement with over-worked and under-resourced staff. More than most other life threatening conditions, there's a high degree of correlation between good hospital and community services management and funding, and sepsis deaths.
