I don't hate Steam. I think it is very good. But I dislike the practice of selling a physical disc that is just a link to Steam without making that clear. If I buy a disc that says it is a game I expect the game to be on the disc, not to have to download the entire game to play it. If publishers don't want to put the game on a disc that is fine, but they shouldn't sell discs in that case.

Morning Everyone! I don't understand why everyone hates Steam? Why did you download and wipe a game so often Chumbles? Because the game kept crashing, and after the double sign in (Steam/Paradox) it wouldn't even load. And the immensely complex reinstalling process recommended by Steam support ended up taking 24 days of my free time. I then found that I had no financial recourse, i.e. I couldn't sell or trade it. Fuck Steam.
