Where do the people stand on the ratio of Gruyere to Emmental when making a fondue? My mother is an advocate of 4:1 where I have started following the BBC recipe of 1:1. Your mother is right. I like Emmental, but 1:1 is too much of a bland cheese for fondue. I'm sorry to hear you've been removed from your mother's will, but you only have yourself to blame. |

Only found out on the way back that there was a corona virus outbreak in a chalet just down the road (a few miles) from us, plus my room buddy was sick with temperature and flu symptoms for 2/3 days. So either we were lucky to avoid it or it turned its nose up at the opportunity to infect me. The incubation period is fourteen days before showing symptoms. #pray4sandybahookie I've heard that whisky and honey are good remedies for it. If I start my treatment now I'll have a better chance. |

Thanks for the tips tenthenemy ! Good luck on your mini medal hunt. I made sure to finish each of the temples on Moonbrooke before leaving. I also smashed up a ton of castle bits so that I could take them back with me. Your welcome. Are you not a marble miner? One of the Explorer's Shores gives you infinite marble which does come in handy for castle projects. I've been struggling with the inventory space limit for quite a while now, so anything to lighten the load. Speaking of Explorer's Shores, I must confess I turned down the offer of unlimited coal and iron supplies on Sunny Sands because I'd rather be able to dowse for diamonds and particularly the elusive Mythril with the flute. That stuff is difficult enough to find as is. I also need to go on another ruby mining expedition. These naughty nightlights aren't making themselves. My scaly steaks counter has been broken for some time but I don't care. Maybe it's been taking cues from the Iowa Democratic Caucus. I'll probably move on to the final story part soon as my understanding is that the tablet targets (and mini medals) cannot be 100%ed without it. |

Who cares about Greta's future or animal welfare when the American Meat Industry can come up with pubs like that?

Ouch. I didn't see the video earlier. There's no fucking need for that. That's ridiculously dangerous. I am certain you are not supposed to hit people on the head with a loving stick. Let alone at high speed. Even if the 16 year-old was being a nuisance there are procedures. |

It's not clear what the kid was doing, but he didn't appear to be armed or close enough to anyone else to be such an immediate danger that would have justified anything like that level of force. Looked like Officer Dibble lost his cool and reasserted his authority with an excessive eagerness.

The days of the police investigating themselves should be over; same with all professional bodies - i.e. the RCN and GMC... none of them are either competent nor motivated to do anything other than bury the evidence. As for using truncheons on heads, that's criminal assault. Only might be used if the subject represents a clear and imminent threat to lives, as in a terrorist attacker. the guy perpetrating the assault needs to be tried for GBH.
