Trump is in the at risk category, due to his age. I think he consults his toupee on medical matters; and possibly his foreign policy. Certainly a foray by it over earth's skies might have prompted the idea of the Space Force so he can escape the devastation I really wish someone would sneeze on him already. Edit: Sending him to Outer Space would work, too. I'm not fussy.

So, had a lovely walk with the dogs tonight. Raining, cold, and they got attacked by a couple of bigger dogs.

Trump in a Star Trek uniform? That's a conflicted wank for Shenguin. Conflicted? Easiest one he’s ever done!

Not if it is one of the Star Trek series he doesn't like.

This is another game I've been eyeing Stellar Tactics for some time; it is £11.59 atm. I'm looking forward to this, but it'll probably be on my 'to play' pile - only 210 on that pile. Edit: It looks great, but it remains in the pile until I can use a keyboard again, dammit

BDT? Still no. Working in a research institute and we have had all the corporate Corona virus stuff. No Chinese holidays. They also seem to have told cleaners to do other things to try and keep us safe, technically if a virus doesn't live does it mean all your precautions are super effective? 50,000 infected and only 500 dead is worse than normal flu.

They also seem to have told cleaners to do other things to try and keep us safe, technically if a virus doesn't live does it mean all your precautions are super effective? 50,000 infected and only 500 dead is worse than normal flu. Really? "There were an estimated 50,100 excess winter deaths in England and Wales in 2017/18 - the highest recorded since winter 1975/76, figures from the Office for National Statistics show." The spike is attributed to a flu strain outwith the annual winter jab for the predicted flu strains. The problem is that people don't die from Corona virus or the other flu variants (because influenza is constantly evolving) they die because of the consequent complications. But often the deaths occur in folk like me - immune system compromised, asthmatic - COPD, HIV, diabetic etc. etc. who are genuinely going to snuff it when an infection hits us... the pertinent causes of death are things like heart failure, strokes, septic shock caused by secondary infections like pseudomonas, blood poisoning ... all conditions are exacerbated by challenging infections. The point I hope I've made is that normal folk will be OK; for the remainder: rest, hydration and immunity system support will normally enable survival. For reference the mainline causes of death - notice that flu isn't listed ... Table 1: Leading cause of death by age group and sex in England and Wales, 2018
Males % of male deaths
All ages Ischaemic heart diseases 13.2
1 to 4 Congenital malformations, deformations and chromosomal abnormalities 12.6 5 to 19 Suicide and injury/poisoning of undetermined intent 16.6 20 to 34 Suicide and injury/poisoning of undetermined intent 25.9 35 to 49 Accidental poisoning 12.5 50 to 64 Ischaemic heart diseases 17.3 65 to 79 Ischaemic heart diseases 14.8 80+ Dementia and Alzheimer disease 15.1

I always look foward to Chumble's cheery bucket of cold water. It should be reassuring. Don't touch other folk (your still OK to touch yourself Felice Landry), wash your hands properly, don't touch your face: especially your eyes and mouth. Alcohol sprays are useful but they are not superior to proper hand washing as the physical actions also dislodge viruses. In other words all the normal hygiene activities but more often. I've posted this because, ghods help you, I regard you as my friends ...

Don't stress over me Chumbs, I've ditched the alcohol spray and gone for a regular alcohol sluicing to make certain I'm ok.

Chumbles actually believes the stats provided by the ONS? Whereas you'd prefer to believe some shithead on a forum who does a lit search? Oh... Seriously, if you can name me another credible source then do so, but alleging that the vast apparatus of the ONS is deliberately falsifying data simply to hang on to the conspiracy theory that all branches of government are out to sow disinformation is asinine. Some functional departments surely do and I have bored on about that before, but the National Audit Office and the ONS are not functional departments with axes to grind and whose existence relies on correctly reporting and interpreting data.

That'll be a 'Yes' then. I've worked with people who've left the ONS because they couldn't provide the correct stats, or rather they could, but not the stats required. I'm not going into further details. '..but alleging that the vast apparatus of the ONS is deliberately falsifying data simply to hang on to the conspiracy theory that all branches of government are out to sow disinformation is asinine.' - That's not what I said and you know it. In essence. I have more insight into the internal machinations of the ONS than you so... suck my balls.

So, we now have a small number of 'secret sources' known only to you who've confirmed your prejudices. I wonder when Ley lines will make their appearance. Whilst you may have more information and refuse to share it honestly and accurately you can keep your shrivelled testicles to yourself.
