I wonder who's buried under the red flag? Would it be Sheep2? I hope not... "Buried in Barnsley, he knew that he was for the chop."

You'll all be pleased to know the Parcelforce parcel was delivered without incident. I've also nailed the job interview like sheep with a goat (or was that shenguin? I get all these she-fixed people confused). I'll miss Wide Andy and Hairy Jake getting in blazing rows during team building exercises, Wide Andy running around like a coked up lunatic at away days, and rambling on in content free pseudo-business speak during meetings.

Well done daky. When do you start? Any time off between finishing/starting?
Hello! TV. Finished The Mandalorian. Enjoyed it. More than I thought I would. New Schitts Creek & new Brooklyn nine nine.
Games. Much pump for the Year 2 Division dlc. So I had a run around with some random clearing control points and generally getting my mojo back. The Coney Island dlc drops today but as I don't have the year pass I'll need to wait till next week.
Kane! How's the ds4 Button add-on doofer?
OTTM. Got a video removed from twitter from 2016 for a DMCA violation.

Congratulations Danky.
Pretty sure that must have been Sheep, not me. The sheep and the goats will need to be separated in the end times.

Congrats on the job Danky, hopefully a few more Wide Andys at the new place.
I had a terrible morning, it was a strong snow blizzard for an hour and we abandoned our car for the kid's drop off and I went the rest of the way with a screaming toddler in the emergency car pram. The kid screaming all the way as I disappeared into the blizzard like Captain Oates.
Then on the way to work Mrs Fark skidded the car and it looks like it broke an axle or something and has now been abandoned to the snow.
It's actually quite nice out there now.

BabyF. Is that a technical term for the wheels not pointing in the same direction? Or has the suspension collapsed?
I bet you've done the track-rod end balljoint, hopefully not a wishbone or it's mounting.

The guy in the coffee shop put sugar in my coffee. What kind of sick bastard has sugar in coffee? Literally disgusting.

Congratulations dakylosaurus419, hopefully your new situation gives you a seat where your PC monitor can't be overlooked ... BabyfarkmcGeezak Sounds like a day to have stayed at home. The really stupid thing about a skid is how difficult it is to drive into a skid, especially when it's taking the car somewhere you really don't want to go. And to keep your foot off the bloody brake. But your PM walked away from it - that at least is a win. My only accident in 25 yrs of driving was obeying a pair of jokers in hi-vis jackets waving at me to slow down. A 450 degree spin with a backwards exit into a field's fencepost which crushed the back end of the car. A small amount of whiplash. T'other way around I would be dead.

Very heavy quilt this morning. It took quite a long time to summon up the strength to lift it. Then I let go and was crushed for some time before I could lift it again.
It did snow in Barnsley. It looked pretty spectacular under the floodlights as it came down. However it was slightly too warm and much too wet for it to settle at all. The windchill factor did make it seem pretty cold. Oakwell is a very open ground. Nice views to the south and the east from the away end. Not much protection from the wind though. There is something to be said for the bowl design of ground in keeping the wind out.
Still I have seen some snow this winter. Even if it was not settling.

Baby
Front wheel or rear wheel drive car? In my humble opinion rear wheel drive vehicles are much more likely to end up out of control in slippery conditions. It's also easier to rescue a front wheel drive car when it does skid. The weight over the wheels gives more control and the turning and power on the same wheels generally helps.
Sounds like an insurance job to have repaired anyway. I don't suppose you'd get much change from £2,000 these days by the time everything is sorted.
So long as everyone is pretty much ok after a car accident I think you have to count it as not too bad.

Congratulations on levelling up your wiggling, Danky! Don't worry, in my experience every workplace has a Wide Andy. You'll feel right at home in no time.

Sounds awful, Baby, but it'll be alright as long as your P.M. is okay. Cars are still easier to fix than people.
It's bright, sunny and cold here, no sign of snow so far. Hope it stays this way. I don't have any grit or sand left to stop the postie from skidding down the driveway.

I used to have a mate from Barnsley. 6 foot something, chiselled jaw, fantastic hair, proper movie star looks, voice like a foghorn recovering from a traumatic brain injury. Quite the contrast. Always amused me no end.
In other news this morning started with the bog soil pipe leaking. Fantastic fun. If you ever refit a bathroom, do not get one of those fancy boxed in systems.
Congrats on the job, danky/daky. It’s not with Roper Rhodes plumbing supplies, by any chance? I have a bone to pick...

Morning crumpets errrr
Morning. Crumpets.
Snowblog? No blog. Not a flake. Did get about an inch of hail in a thunderstorm, which froze to my car like a knobbly white carapace, until it went it's own way at about 70mph on the A47, much to the amusement of the idiot tailgating me, who must have thought he was having some kind of Final Destination moment.
