I’ve refused to wear heaphones for gaming ever since the time I got a drunken CountGinula eating Bombay Mix down the line, in full Turtle Beach clarity. Horrifying. At least if it’s coming out the telly it’s at a safe remove.

You need big speakers/a sub to properly jump at a cannon shot in Bloodborne.
I didn't even know the game had a cannon.
There was a big big noise and I was dead.
I have been listening to When The Levee Breaks by Led Zep a lot recently as well. You don't get properly pounding bass except via speakers.
Fortunately my neighbour is largely deaf. He had perfect hearing when I moved in.

You’ve never done a cannon build? Amazing. I strongly recommend you sort that.
They nerfed it a while back by stopping you getting as many cannonballs from the old stab-yerself-in-the-leg trick but you still really should give it a go. It’s incredibly amusing, particularly against the shadows and that berk with a cage on his head. Cannon + Ludwigs = super happy fun time.

This was on my first play through. I was innocently killing monsters and standing right in front of the big cannon in Forbidden Woods. By the end with the big hole in it. I had not seen it though.
It was pretty upsetting.

Ottm: went to Rome for the rugby with 'the lads'. Rome is incroyable, even better than I expected. None of the locals knew that there was a rugby match on, or that there is a game called rugby, though tbf after 15 Peronis neither did I. #rugbychap

Following on from your rugby thing, I was in Paris on the day of the final of the 1998 World Cup, we were looking for somewhere to eat before the game started, everywhere was shut because in Paris you don't open in the afternoon eventually we found a place with a small TV that we could watch the game, we were the only people watching it. Fucking 4* for not giving a fuck. Did end up walking down the Champs-Élysées doing all the stuff. Magic. |
